A: Hi! The distance between the lower shelf and the top shelf is 16.75 inches. The wood is manufactured wood. This product is mosture-resistant, not water-resistant. I hope this helps!

Very sturdy table and exactly the asthetic I was looking for. It was a little ticky getting the screw holes lined up but I was able to get it assembled without issue.

Poor quality
The table came with a screw missing.. while fixing a nail came off.. we were in such packed schedule.. fixed everything on our own. Not recommend
