A: 350? What happens when handling something hotter than that? Lots of baking happens at over 400F.

A: Thanks for your question! The entire top portion of our Oven Mitt is completely silicone on the outside. The inside and bottom of the Oven Mitt is made from cloth. I hope this helps!

These silicone Oven Mitts are the best. Stop using cloth! Unlike cloth oven mitts where they get hot through or if they get wet, they get hot, silicone Oven Mitts do not. They have a nice grip. They are easy to wash and no more burns! Make the switch!

My fault for not seeing this is only 1 mit but this is another example of shrinkflation. Why not sell these in pairs. I really would not have bought this had I known that 2 mits cost nearly $40.

Small and slippery

I assumed, wrongly, that this was a pair of mitts. I guess not. I went back and looked, and nowhere does it say quantity is 2. Anyway, for this same price you can get a different brand and get a pair. So I am a little disappointed. I have not yet used my one oven mitt, so I can't say how it functions, but I bought it to handle pulling out a dutch oven. Hoping this one mitt is enough to get me by on a 450' piece of cast iron!

Fabric part is not heat resistant
The fabric portion at the wrist area of the glove completely melted the first time I used it! Chemical smell permeated my food/kitchen and weird melted synthetics adhered to my baking pan. I had already thrown out my cheaper all fabric ones that never melted! I need a replacement. Help me out, Target!
