Description

Basting turkey has never been this easy when you have the OXO Turkey Baster with Cleaning Brush. A great tool in the kitchen, the OXO turkey baster features a non-slip bulb and collar that can be gripped several different ways for a safe and easy basting of the turkey. The flat bulb design prevents rolling when placed on the counter, while the basting tube is crack resistant and high-heat safe. The Turkey Baster has a 1.5 oz (40mL) capacity shown in easy-to-read standard and metric measurement markings. When you're done basting the turkey, simply scrub out the baster with the included cleaning brush.

Q: The description simply states "high-heat resistant tube". Please define "high-heat". In other words, what is the exact highest temperature the plastic tube can handle without melting.

  • A: Hi! We do not specify a maximum temperature for this product. We do not recommend sucking up hot oil from a wok or fryer with the OXO Baster. It should only be used for its intended purpose of sucking up basting juices and hot marinades. Hope this helps!

Q: HOW exactly do I remove the bulb, pull hard or screw off, I don't want to break it! Wouldn't a simple diagram or sentence on the package have prevented this question?

  • A: To remove, simply hold the bottom portion of the bulb that is attached to the baster and gently pull to separate the pieces.

The OXO Good Grips Baster is an excellent kitchen tool and a must-have for roasting and cooking. It has a comfortable, non-slip grip that makes basting easy and mess-free, even with hot liquids. Easy to use

Great pipette! Use it for my turkey every year, it doesn’t get too hot fast, it works wonders and it’ll last a long time. Very easy to use! Looks like new after so many usages, and no setup required.
