A: Thanks for your question! Our Silicone Flexible Turners are heat resistant up to 600 degrees Fahrenheit and should withstand hot oil. However, it is best to rest the turner on the counter or a tool rest when not in use. I hope this helps!

Q: If the actual spatula base is 1.5 inches thick, that would be over two times the thickness of the hamburger one was cooking, Without bending it and if it is flat in pan next to 1/2 inch high burger then how high up does spatula sit next to that?

The handle is NOT heat proof. If you’re cooking something on the stove, and leave the turner on a hot pan for a few seconds, the handle starts to melt. You need to set it on a spoon rest.

I had liked it till the silicone broke. It's barely over a year old so that's pretty disappointing. It doesn't get used a lot, probably a few times a month so I'm confused how that happened.

The flat turner end is too flexible. I like to be able to cut a grilled cheese sandwich or omelet in half while still in the pan, this struggles to be strong enough for the job. I'm going to return.

These are great, but a bit hard to clean. You need to scrub them after cooking eggs since the dishwasher won’t do the trick. My old one had some of the silicone break off so I got a replacement.

Maybe this was just my experience, but when I put the spatula in the dishwasher then used it to flip my scrambled eggs, my eggs ended up tasting like dishwasher detergent! Silicone absorbs easily, so I’ll just be hand washing it so it doesn’t get too hot and take on the soap taste. It has a great shape, smoothness, and bends easily so outside of how it has to be cleaned, it’s a nice flipper

We have been using this for a couple of months and I’m happy with it. It’s thin enough to work well on delicate foods. It’s a good level of bendiness - not quite hard enough to scrape a pan clean, but not floppy either.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little turner far exceeded my expectations. I have a drawer full of spatulas that I would buy thinking this would be "the one". This is a great little turner but it still leaves some areas to be desired. I use it often on my large electric indoor griddle for making breakfast for the family. It does great for turning pancakes, eggs and large batches of hash brown potatoes. I have noticed it does struggle to get under foods, almost as if the silicone is just a bit too thick. I also noticed that the silicone tends to skid or stick the non-stick griddle surface. At the end of the day, I will still continue to use this turner although it may not be my favorite but it still earns its keep in my drawer.
