I was trying to replace an old spatula with a loose handle. Unfortunately, this turned out to be about twice a big as the one I was trying to replace. My wife feels this is too large to use conveniently.

OXO Solid Turner Spatula is a great spatula for turning cookies, serving egg casserole, cheese grits, cake, pie slices.

This spatula is perfect. Feels good in hand. Handle is very nice. It stays cool, while resting on the edge of the pan, while it's on the heat. Not heavy. Strong. It doesn't flex, so that's helpful if you need to break up something in the pan while cooking. Works great scraping the cast iron pan after cooking. Cleans super easy! Stays looking new. Seems to be the right size, no matter what I'm using it on. I'm so pleased with it, I've bought several. It's my go-to spatula. (I'm a kitchen gadget person, so I've tried many.) Instead of bringing lesser liked ones camping, I bought this one just for that.

We just bought a new stuff with a griddle so my husband begged for one of these. He absolutely loves it. Makes it easier to cook and clean our griddle. Very sturdy! Not cheaply made at all.

Had to be returned and replaced due to damage on edge, so run your finger along the end before scraping your pan. Replacement was perfect!

This bad boy gets the job done. Can't recommend that you have at least one stainless steel turner in your arsenal, especially if you've got a cast iron skillet. They're made for each other.
