Description

The OXO SoftWorks Silicone Everyday Flexible Turner is the perfect tool for flipping eggs, chopping ground beef and lifting cookies without crumbling. Its flexible metal core is encased in heat-resistant silicone tough enough to take up to 550°F of heat from the oven or stovetop. The turner's head is beveled for gliding under food for flipping and hugging the sides of pans for fast deglazing. It's also large enough to transport chicken or fish filets and sturdy enough to chop ground meat — all while going easy on non-stick cookware. The neck of the turner is precisely angled to clear the sides of large pans and reduce wrist strain as you work, while the soft, non-slip handle is comfortable in your hand. This sturdy turner is dishwasher safe for easy cleanup.

Q: Is there any nylon in this product? The description says silicone with a metal core, but then the materials field says nylon and silicone.

  • A: Hello! The entire exterior of our Silicone Flex Turner is silicone, including the body and food surface area. The interior of this item does contain nylon and metal, but these parts do not contact food.

Durable but handle its too short

I have the slotted spoon from OXO and love it and wanted to get the turner also. The turner is flexible and durable and the silicone stands up to the heat. My biggest complaint is the length of the handle is too short and I find myself holding it all the way on the edge. It would have been geat if the handle was a tad longer.

Broke after 2 years

We liked it, but two years in and the metal piece inside broke through the silicone turner so it's going in the trash.

Didnt work for me

Disappointed in its stiffness at the tip. Useless for eggs as mine won’t scrape it off the bottom.
