Q: Can it be used on hot pans for flipping pancakes? Thanks.

submitted by SID - 2 years ago

  • A: Stainless steel spatulas are great for flipping pancakes, which cook best by waiting for bubbles to form before turning.

submitted byJon - 10 months ago

  • A: Hi SID - Thank you for inquiring about this product. Stainless steel spatulas aren't the best cookware to use for pancakes since they typically lack a non-stick coating. This versatile brownie turner features a flat, beveled head that easily slides under food, and the sharp front edge cuts right through brownies, lasagna and more. Hope this helps! - Kris

Edges are sharp not for kitchen maybe better for construction

Sharp edges that can cut ur fingers and destroy ur pan. It’s better for construction purposes than for kitchen. Save ur money and buy something else

    Solid built like a tank

Solid heavy-duty spatula. I mean, this thing is built like a tank and can probably stop a bullet. I eliminated all plastic and non-stick from my kitchen. I use this spatula to fry eggs and sausages in my carbon-steel pan. It does the job and seems like it'll last a very long time. Not bad for $5. I'm going to buy a couple more of these for family.

Its worth is not a Figment

I've been looking for a small spatula like this and love it! It's stainless steel and well-made. A definite recommendation for those who sometimes bring dishes/desserts to share at gatherings.

Great tool. Design change in 2025 holds and drips water

I had one of these spatulas and loved it so much that I bought a second. The first works perfectly! The second holds water in the handle that drips out as you cook. From the reviews it looks like there was a design change in May 2025. What a bummer!

    Design flaw

I love this for using on cast iron or stainless. I do find it annoying that if it goes through the dishwasher the handle holds water and then leaks out while I’m cooking. So it requires handwashing.

    Not the best

Really liked this item; the weight of it and how it looks, but there is a hole in the handle that fills with water every time you wash it and then never completely dries. Unfortunate design. Would’ve really liked this without that.
