Q: HOW DO I GET THE MACHINE TO WASH THE CARPET? I HAVE THE OLD BISSELL PRO HEAT 2X. WHAT SETTING IS THE MACHINE SUPPOSE TO BE ON?
A: Thanks for your question, Becky! To wash your carpet with the ProHeat 2X, make sure the tank is filled with water and formula, then set the dial to “Clean” or “Heavy Traffic” depending on how deep a clean you need. Recline the handle, turn the machine on, and press the trigger while making slow passes over the carpet. Release the trigger to suction up the water and help the carpet dry. A: Hi Miss Di. Yes! BISSELL 2X Deep Clean + Refresh (1052) is safe to use in most full-size upright carpet cleaners, including Rug Doctor machines designed for liquid formulas. Just be sure to follow your machine’s instructions for best results.

The BISSELL 2X Deep Clean + Refresh Formula (model 1052) is designed for use in upright carpet cleaners and is not recommended for use with the BISSELL CrossWave. The CrossWave uses a different type of cleaning solution specifically formulated for its multi-surface cleaning system.
