It said you could wash and dry it in a washer and dryer. But then when I got the product, the detailed instructions said you could only dry it for five minutes and then that you had to hang dry. Also, there were very weird and specific instructions on how they wanted you to wash it in the washer.

This Peace Nest Dual-Sided Thicker Striped Flannel Heated Electric Throw Blanket with 10 Heating Levels, in Gray is the perfect addition to my sometimes chilly home office. I love the overall size of 50" x 60" blanket. It's easy to connect the electrical cord & select from one of 10 heating levels. It's super soft & heats up very quickly too! You can't go wrong with this blanket.

Blanket is soft on both sides. Easy to turn on and quick to heat. Like the auto turn off feature. Says it is machine washable but I haven’t washed it yet. The heat is concentrated in the middle so edges not heated (if you are sharing the blanket). I haven’t figured out how to NOT have the controls hit the ground but it is a minor inconvenience.

The inside is a fleece that is soft and fuzzy and the outside is ribbed. The ribbed side is also a fleecy material and not a stiff corduroy. I love that it has 10 settings, my old one only had 3. It also has a timer that goes up to 8 hours so you can set it and forget about it. I like to preheat the bed so it’s cozy when I go to sleep. I also use this when curling up to watch a movie on a cold winter day. I become the siren of the couch and everyone in the family including the dog want to curl up with me. Nothing is better than bringing this to my office when I’m not feeling well and wrapping myself up in my office chair with a hot cup of tea. You need one of these, life is vastly improved when you are wrapped in a warm fuzzy blanket.

I have the 50x60 size. It’s a good size for my side of the couch. It warms up fast and is soft. It is also lightweight. It can be washed in the washer under delicate settings, only air dry or tumble dry. It has a faint ofd smell upon opening but after one wash, the smell went away. There are 10 heat levels, 1 being the lowest and 10 the highest. You can also put it on timer up to 8 hours. The control is not heavy and it’s easy to use.
