It integrates well with other devices and Alexa

TV Mounts and sticky tape work perfectly to help contour the light around the top edge of the TV down along the sides. Syncs with Alexa fairly easily when you use the Hue Bridge. and effortlessly integrated with the Sync Box. As a Bonus, you can combine the effect with other Hue Color bulbs in the room that might be in lamps or ceiling lights.

Customer supply is terrible.

Wont work with the sync box I just bought. Customer support was supposed to escalate the problem and call me back. They never did. Spent hours on the phone. Just send me a new one please.

This TV light strip syncs to colors on your tv. It’s very cool once it’s hooked up. The sync box works with a 2.4 ghz router only.

Beautiful system with 1 shortcoming

I absolutely love the products. As a standalone they are great. With the Hue Play Link box its phenominal. But with that said. You can only have 1 gradient strip in a play zone. So now I have 1 extra strip that can only be used for ambiance lighting. (Tv hung on the wall with a gradient strip, entertainment center below with a gradient strip). If a software update could be made to have both configured to one play zone easy 5 stars.

Great Product! But FYI..

When connected to a hue sync box , the TV provider you use needs to connect directly to the sync box in order for the gradience effect to work . (Ex. Chromcast, Apple TV ) the gradient effect does not work with smart tv , because you cannot connect direct to sync box and then back into TV .

Highly Recommended

Pair with a few bulbs or other light strips for an immersive experience. If you are running a TV with a fairly flat back you may want to go up a size so that you can put the mounts farther out on the corners and still have enough length to reach the bottom on both sides. I have a 65" LG G1 and with it attached at the corners its too short, I plan to replace it with this 75" model soon. If its a touch too long you can run tie the corners up with some double sided tape.

Love the lights, when they work. Little pricey

Lights look great when they work, the power connection between the lights and the power box is finicky. If the cable gets bumped at all the lights go off. Also the sync box sometimes doesn’t recognize when something is plugged into an hdmi slot.

Great but lacks special lighting abilities.

Awesome product but its lacking. There needs to be more special lighting features like an RGB rainbow wave or pinwheel of colors. It would also be great if I could customise the lighting and plend colors. For example, id love to have part of the lights be a strong and vibrant red while the rest slowly transitions from purple and over to blue on the other side.
