Q: Can i freeze for a few weeks before opening

submitted by SC - 2 years ago
  • A: Freezing unbaked cinnamon rolls is not recommended as freezing may cause them to lose their leavening power and they may not rise as expected. You can freeze fully baked cinnamon rolls. After completely cooling, tightly wrap each in plastic wrap and place in an air tight container. Label and enjoy within 30 days.

Q: can I store these in the pantry?

submitted by Storage - 2 years ago
  • A: Our cinnamon roll dough must remain refrigerated prior to baking as stated on the product label. We hope this helps!

Q: Is the cinnamon in the dough or separate? I am looking for a plain sweet roll so does Pillsbury make any of these types with the cinnamon separate to add optionally.

submitted by anon - 3 years ago
  • A: Hello, thanks for the question. The Cinnamon does not come separately, it is part of the dough. Thanks!

Q: Can I bake these two at a time and leave rest in refrigerator in sealed bag?

submitted by Sue Anderson - 3 years ago
  • A: Hi Sue, We recommend baking all the dough at once then refrigerate or freeze prepared product for later use. Opened dough should be baked within two hours. Hope this helps.

I loved these as a child and decided to retry after years of TJ ready-to-bake and bakery cinnamon rolls. These are awful. Incredibly dry and flavorless, with not enough frosting to help force it down.

We love your cinnamon rolls and especially your orange rolls but I have such a difficult time separating the rolls along the perforations. I end up with rolls of various sizes. I’ve decided that next time I’ll just cut the dough with a serrated knife.

Very disappointed. Not the rolls they used to be. They are still shown on the package but what I got was little flat cinnamon biscuits...with no cinnamon really. Never again will I waste money on these or others by Pillsbury.

This is no longer a cinnamon roll. It is a biscuit. It is sad you changed the recipe passed it off as an actual cinnamon roll and left the price the same.

NOT ROLLED! JUST BISCUITS. The picture is false advertisement because it makes you think it’s the old version where it’s rolled up dough but it’s just a cinnamon biscuit. Lame.

Absolutely the worst now, cinnamon topped biscuits. Picture is extremely misleading due to the fact they have an actual cinnamon roll on the cover. The cheaper store brand are they actual OG rolls.

What a disappointment! You used to be able to pull the layers apart and there was a ton of cinnamon inside. Now they're just biscuits that aren't even very sweet and there is hardly any cinnamon in them. They're salty and disgusting. I'll never buy these again. I can't believe they would change them!

Absolutely awful. These are not cinnamon rolls but biscuits with flakes of cinnamon and sugar mixed in. The texture is all wrong, flavor is lacking, and presentation terrible. At least the orange flavored ones are still good... But for how much longer? I do a lot of baking but Pillsbury products are quickly filling my "do not fly" list. Recently switched to Gold Medal and King Arthur for flour, even.

Cinnamon rolls are pretty small, and there are other brands I prefer. I like the texture of cinnamon rolls to be fluffier, and these were more bread-y.
