[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Most pieces were damaged and customer support hasn’t been helpful - waiting to hear back after following up three times. Disappointed considering how much money I spent, furniture is extremely cheap looking and could have gotten something a lot less expensive on Amazon or Wayfair for the quality of the product and poor customer support.

Horrible design

None of the bolt holes lined up at all, so you were not able to even assemble the table. It was horrible. And now we have to package it back up and return it

After assembly the pieces didn’t

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After assembly the pieces didn’t fit together like they should have. When I asked for a refund/exchange there was no willingness to do so. Now I am stuck with an uneven table, even if they were able to send out pieces o fix the issue. The hassle of taking part the table and putting it back together again will take hours. Not worth it, buyers remorse to the fullest.

Poor packing/quality control.

I ordered this table and an interior frame component arrived damaged. It was clear this component was damaged prior to shipping as it was packed inside the other components. Their only option for me to receive a replacement before thanksgiving was to ship an entirely new table - leaving me with hundreds of pounds of trash. Get this, the replacement table arrived with the SAME EXACT COMPONENT DAMAGED, packed the same way!!! Now I have NO TABLE for Thanksgiving… What a waste of money!!!!

I like how the table

We have 2 benches from plank + beam for this table. 60 inch was the perfect size for our apartment.

table split, unable to install replacement part

Table split within a couple of months. They shipped a replacement part, but it required full un-assembly and reassembly of the table. I wasn't able to get some finishing screws out on my own so I can't even get the new piece installed. Huge waste of time and I'm still stuck with a damaged table. Will not purchase from Plank + Beam again.

I expected better quality.

The table is beautiful and very heavy - it looks and feels solid and elegant in the room. The wood texture is nice and the color is exactly as pictured. Unfortunately, it arrived with several damages: multiple corners are chipped, and there's visible damage to one of the joints underneath. That was really disappointing, considering how nice the table is overall. Still keeping it because I can't send it back I like the style, but I expected better packaging or quality control for such a heavy item

Poor Quality + Customer Service

The color is nothing like the photos - it has a strong yellow hue to it. On top of that, upon opening the box, ALL of the hardware (screws, etc. ) were just thrown in the box - not secured in any sort of bag. I mean there were screws everywhere. The return process was a pain as well - I had no problem at first, and then couldn't get a reply from customer service after our initial email exchange. When I called, I got a rude attitude from the female agent, saying her counterpart had emailed me back, yet I never received his email. I will not order from this brand again, and am shocked at all the good reviews I read.

Don't waste your time

If I could give zero stars, I would. My dining table and bench arrived damaged on June 13th, and nearly three weeks later, I'm still waiting for a resolution. I've been without a usable dining table this entire time because I can't assemble it with broken parts. I reached out to customer service the same day it arrived and have been bounced between Plank & Beam and Maxwood Furniture (the manufacturer and distributor). Despite my request for a refund, they've refused and only offered replacement parts - which, after all this time, still haven't even shipped. I don't want replacement pieces. I want nothing to do with this furniture. The quality is poor, and the customer service has been even worse. Save yourself the frustration and believe the negative reviews - this is cheaply made furniture backed by a company that doesn't stand behind their product.

Love this table!-truly. Was looking for a shorter table (in this case, we ordered the 60') and it's perfect with its 2 marching benches. Well packed, easy to assemble and the wood is of great solid quality. Happy camper!!

Why are the colors and textures different?

We bought a pair of chairs in the color pecan to see if I'd like the color and the chairs themselves. They look great. We went ahead and ordered the other 2 chairs and the pecan table. We put everything together and set it up. The color of the table vs chairs is slightly different. The texture is completely different. Especially for a table why would you make it textured. If you use it to write something you can't. Like all of the reviews that said they used it as a desk, I don't know how. The texture is intense. I like the smooth texture of the chairs better. The chairs and the table don't look like a set. The quality of the table is not as good as the chairs either. Ours came with a dent on the top of the table. And it just looks off. Wide gaps and the legs are crooked. Clearly, I'm not going to try to disassemble the table and try to send it back but . . . Not great

Nightmare to put together, difficult to clean. Would not recommend.

Our table initially came broken and the custom service was great and they quickly sent us a new one. However, it was a NIGHTMARE to put together. We had to leave out the washers for the screws to even fit, and there were a few screws we never got in even without the washers. There's a couple pieces that didn't fit together properly where there are gaps in the table now. The grooves in it make it difficult to clean and keep clean. Aesthetically, it's a beautiful table but I wouldn't purchase this again.
