The negative comments are true for my purchase in addition to the finish becoming foggy and coming off after use over time. These are religiously wiped free of food and handprints after meals with quality cleaning products

The stool you have been looking for
I bought 4 of these stools for our new kitchen that needed some warm elements. I cannot express how much I love them. They feel solid and they wipe clean. I have a toddler and I love that she can sit on the stool and the rounded arms help keep her on the stool. Also, we get compliments on these all the time and people are shocked to learn they are from Target. I bought these 2 years ago and they have held up too. Definitely recommend!
