Dents easily
First off I would like to say this table is beautiful and I love it. In my opinion, It is not meant for daily use. It dents easily, shows marks from tipped over cups, pencils that missed the paper, and other things of the like. If you are looking for a durable table that can keep up with arts and crafts/kids/ wear and tear. This is not it. I have never had a problem with dining tables denting the way this one does.

This is a beautiful table,
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a beautiful table, however when putting it together many parts didn’t line up exactly. Some wood parts like the legs, aren’t exactly aligned with the top of the table. There are small edges in each of the four sides (the leg top edge is going inward or outward). My husband who is a GC had to try and drill slightly wider holes to line it up but it still wasn’t perfect. Also, I have to warn, this table (I got it in white oak aka blonde) is incredibly soft. If you put anything on it that can make an indent, it will stay. Once, I had to quickly write a note on a piece of paper and the writing got imprinted into the wood as any pressure on it will leave a dent. Otherwise, the price was right for this so I would still say it’s worth it for the aesthetic.

We've been careful with the table so this really shouldn't be happening yet. I like how sturdy the table and chairs are. I did expect the tabletop to be one solid piece instead of 3 pieces that you assemble. Overall, I'm happy to have this non-toxic table available in our price range.

First and foremost, I am very happy with the table. It is beautiful and seems to be good quality. It came in great packaging. All in all, it took about 3 hours to assemble. It is not exactly flat on the top even though I was careful to align everything correctly. Assembly is not as easy as it sounds, although there are only 6 pages of instructions. It came with everything I needed. Overall, I am very happy with the table, the modern look, and the quality. I really like knowing they value non-toxic products, which is something I was really looking for. I would recommend the table, but perhaps hire someone to build it.

Sturdy, solid wood, but slight flaws
Unfortunately there are some little dents, in identical spots on the outside pieces, that I didn't see until the table was put together. I would not take it apart to send back but it is noticeable. Other than that the table is quite nice and sturdy. I got the benches too and it all looks great as a set.

Quick delivery! The markings on my particular table create long streaks running down two of the boards that make up the table top. When I pulled it out of the box, at first I thought it was scratched but realized it was the markings. Not my favorite finish but the table fits my smaller space perfectly. Wished for a little more quality, but for the price!

Love this table! Fingerprints and food smudge very easy on the top and that is the only thing I dislike. I’m worried it will scratch easy so we are being very careful! We didn’t think to lay it on anything when putting together but I believe we didn’t slightly scratch the surface when putting together with the top face down. I would definitely recommend including that in your instructions more clearly as a first step! But we are definitely pleased with this table.

Poor Quality Table
My black dining table arrived damaged with multiple scratches on the surface and edge of the table top, rendering it unusable. The wood is more like cheap plastic. Would never purchase a Plank and Beam product again.

We had been researching dining tables and found your table that was perfect. It was relatively easy for two seniors to put together. The table is very sturdy and the finish is fabulous. So happy with the quality.

Pros: Easy to put together. Rounded corners. Cons: VERY easily marked up. I've only had it for about a week and a half but it already has dents, scratches, etc., all over. VERY easily roughed up.
