My family really enjoyed this game! It is different from your typical board game in terms of gameplay. I felt like it was really interactive and got everyone talking a lot. My kids are 9 and 10, and they had a ton of fun. They had to look up definitions for a few of the words on the cards, but it was really interesting to see how everyone rated themselves and each other.

It's simply Logical to enjoy this game
Disclaimer: my family received this game at no cost in exchange for a playtest and honest review. This game was a lot of fun! The setup takes a moment to get sorted properly since both the box/tin and its lid are used in the gameplay, but once you get things rolling, Psychological is a thoughtful and challenging game that brings insight, laughs, and bonding. As the players take turns reflecting on themselves and the others playing, the game inspires conversation and lots of giggles. It is wild when your friends and family see you the same way you do, but even wilder when they don't! Truly looking forward to playing this game again and again.

A game of psycho-analyzing a fun mashup of traits!
I received this game in exchange for an honest review. Our family had a blast with this game! It was surprisingly hilarious to discover how people close to you perceive you. The game sparked a lot of realizations and self-reflection and insight into traits we each didn't realize we had. How to play the game is simple. My 8-year old easily picked it up. On your turn, you pick 2 cards: one from the psycho deck and one from the logical deck. Then you secretly rate yourself from a scale of 1 to 10 for both traits and put your magnetic marker (where the traits intersect) on the grid inside the game lid. The rest of the players then guess exactly how you scored yourself and mark their guesses on the game board with their token. You then reveal your rating by marking the grid with the scoring trophy. The players who guessed the same as your rating get 3 points, Players who are 1 grid away horizontally or vertically get 2 points and the players who are one grid away diagonally get 1 point. The first player to reach 10 points wins the game. There are a lot of cards for both the Psycho and Logical decks, allowing for a lot of repeat plays. There is no downtime between rounds because everyone has a part to play each round. While the game is rated at age 8+, there were some traits that may be beyond an 8 year old's current vocabulary. My boys would ask what certain words mean before we proceed with turning in our scores. It became a teaching opportunity. Learning new words while playing the game was a definite plus for them. Some of the cards may appear to be slightly harsh for more sensitive players who might find others' scoring offensive. For our family though, we found a way to make it light, playful, and hilarious. My 10 year old says it is one of his favorite games. It can be a sure hit for families on game nights!

Makes you think!
This game is pretty easy to learn. Some words may be unfamiliar to younger players. It is a game that really makes you think! It's fun to see how others view you and makes for great discussion.

Family game with a few word explanations!
I received this product in exchange for my honest review. Psychological ended up being a fun family game for us, and I love that it got multiple ages involved instead of turning into one of those “kids play while adults supervise from the couch” situations. The game uses two stacks of cards and players rate themselves, then everyone else guesses. It's part strategy, part personality test, and part “wait… is that really how you see me?” in the funniest way. For elementary and tween-age players, a few of the words may need a quick explanation before they can really answer confidently, but once they understand the card, they’re all in. We played with kids, teens, adults, and it worked surprisingly well across ages. It sparked conversation, laughs, and a few very dramatic defenses of personal ratings. The setup was easy, the colorful board and pieces kept everyone engaged, and there are plenty of cards so it doesn’t feel like you’ll run through it quickly. Overall, this was a fun, different, conversation-starting game that made us laugh and think.

Wonderful game that makes you really think
We received this game in exchange for honest feedback. My kids really enjoyed playing this game, my 8 year old did take a little longer to grasp it but my 12 and 14 year olds loved it! They thought it was so fun putting a "rating" on different attributes and we're shocked to see what the other rates themselves in certain things. I love that there are so many cards to work through, we can play the game so many times before we repeat them. Very fun addition to our game closet

What do we think?
I received this game in exchange for a review. The game requires players to take turns ranking themselves on their own perception of how they fit certain characteristics. After they are done the other players rank themselves same player on how they think they ranked themselves. This game is interesting to see how we all perceive each other, but can be a little harder for those that are a little more sensitive with their feelings. Overall, we had a fun time discovering ourselves and each other.

get to REALLY know your friends
PSYCHOLOGICAL is a fun game to play with a circle of close friends or relatives. The game comes with two sets of cards - PSYCHO and LOGICAL that have personality traits written on them. You flip the cards and place a magnetic marker on a board where you think you have these traits (on a scale of 1 to 10), while others are trying to guess how to see yourself by placing their markers on the game board. Whoever is closer gets more points. This game is designed for 3-6 people (the more - the merrier, we think!), but they need to know each other pretty well to be able to score points. What makes this game fun (and funny!) is the unexpected combinations that you get on the cards, and it really makes you see some unexpected sides of people you think you know well :) As an added bonus, it may also help boost vocabulary in younger players. There's LOTS of cards, so it's never the same game twice!

We are addicted to this game!
Psychological by PlayMonster was easily our favorite game of the night. From the very first round, everyone was engaged, laughing, and trying to figure out how the other players were thinking. It's one of those games that makes you realize your family and friends may not think quite the way you expected and that's where the fun begins! We especially enjoyed how interactive and unique the gameplay felt. Every turn had us making guesses, spotting patterns, and trying to stay one step ahead of everyone else. It kept all four players involved from start to finish, which isn't always easy to find in a family game. One thing we did notice is that some of the vocabulary feels a bit advanced for a game labeled 8+. Younger players may need help with a few of the words, but once everyone understood them, the game flowed smoothly.

Mind games and lots of laughs!
I received this product in exchange for an honest review. Psychological was more fun than we expected. It was confusing at first, but once we got it, everything clicked. Some words did have to be explained, but It had everyone talking, laughing, and questioning each other. The game makes you think while showing how well you know the people you’re playing with. It stayed engaging, and got more entertaining as we played. Great for game nights with friends or family.

Love this game!
I received this product in exchange for an honest review. We really enjoyed playing this game and finding out how much we didnt know about our family members lol It was really fun to see how each person saw themselves vs how other people saw them and the words for descriptiveness were very enlightening. The metal box is fantastic and I love how it was incorporated into game play.

Unique twist on party games
I received this product at no cost to me in exchange for my honest review. This game is very easy to learn and play. The point of the game is to try and figure out how others think about themselves, and not what you think about them. It is good for getting to know others. It can be especially good at starting conversations among siblings. For people that have a hard time taking others perspectives it helps them exercise this ability.

Game that makes you think...
I received this product in exchange for an honest review. This is a fun game for all ages that makes you think about yourself and then lets you know how others see you. The player starts out with rating themselves on 1 to 10 with a Psycho card such as "Power Hungry" and then a Logical card such as "Fun". The other players then try to match and who ever comes closest to the rating wins points. The ratings on the grid board were interesting to see how you rate yourself and then how other people see you. Some of the Psycho cards were a little harsh but we smiled and judged ourselves with a smile. Fun game that makes you think. Highly recommend.

You're going to find out some secrets
I received this product at no cost to me in exchange for my honest review. My family and I are fiercely competitive and this one is a thinker. We had to guess how one another would answer and we had the best time! This one is very well made. The magnets stick well, the cards are strong. This one is good for all the thinkers out there. How well you know one another may very well be challenged by this one. We love it.
