Game changer! Get off your phone AND still catch Pokemon!

This is a game changer and makes Pokémon Go so much more enjoyable! The auto catch feature is awesome and does the tedious work of finding monsters, throwing, and waiting for the catch animation for me. It also auto spins stops and collects gifts. When out and about, I’m no longer constantly on my phone but I still get to catch monsters! I turn on the auto catch and auto spin, spend time exploring with the people I love and, when I’m back home, I can see all the new monsters and gifts that my Pokemon Go Plus + caught for me! I looked at this for a long time and am so happy with my purchase!

It’s the ideal investment for a Pokemon Go player. It vibrates pretty loud unlike the older Pokeball +, and the light is significantly brighter—brighter to the point you can see the accessory flashing in your pocket when a stop is spun or a Pokemon is caught. You don’t have to fiddle around in your pocket like you do with a Pokeball +. However. On top of it being bright and loud is that if you have auto catch on, shiny Pokemon will still run if failed to be caught automatically. Physically, don’t let your accessory get washed, as it will NOT survive. I’ve gone through two now because of that reason sadly.

Just got back into pokemon go so this is something that is super useful with auto catching. it only auto catches with regular poke balls but you can press the button to use great or ultra balls i just stick with the normal ones for the autocatcher. it does typically disconnect after a while and i have it to where i’ll get a notification that i’ll need to reconnect it if so. Reconnecting is super easy as there’s a button on the main pokemon go page that can instantly reconnect it which makes it simple. Connecting it though in the first place was where i had difficulty as it was very confusing and had to do a lot of trial and error to get it to connect. Once it got connected tho itll just auto spin stops or auto catch pokemon with whatever is in range so well worth it past that point. i also wanted to take advantage of the exclusive sleeping snorlax encounter with this device so i got pokemon sleep. this app is difficult and tedious to get started on and to connect the device to the app, you have to close out the pokemon go app, though it’ll still be connected and link to pokemon go it won’t auto catch or autospin if the pokemon go app is closed. only if it’s in sleep mode where it’s running in the background to get started with pokemon sleep i had a lot of connecting issues trying to get it to work and once i did it was simple to use in terms of tracking sleep. it’s been updating to both games as pokemon go also using the sleep feature for the exclusive challenge whenever i sleep. the vibrating i know is an issue for a lot of people but i honestly don’t mind it, even in sleep mode it’ll vibrate but i just have it in my pocket while im working just so that it’ll keep auto catching.

Vibrates constantly and you can't turn that off. In game UI is difficult to navigate and takes a long time to click through to get to the settings and make changes. Wish I could return

I have had every generation of peripheral for this game and this version has made playing Pokémon go Way easier when I can’t be engaged. I just wish it could auto catch with other pokeballs besides the standard one.

A must have for any serious Pokémon Go Player. You don’t need this to play Pokémon Sleep, uses this to count sleep rather than your phone and adds a Pikachu that assists you slightly. In Pokémon Go: this can connect either automatically or manually. It can automatically throw pokeballs and spin stops, or you can do both manually by pressing the button in the middle when it flashes and vibrates. You can ONLY throw Regular pokeballs, Great Balls, and Ultra balls manually. This also does NOT count your steps, but can also count your sleep (with or without pokemon sleep) and gives you a special research for counting weeks worth of sleep data and rewarding you with an exclusive Snorlax with a nightcap that can be shiny! Only downsides are that its vibrations, flashing LED, and sound effects can be annoying at times, but can be tuned out and sound effects completely muted. Battery life is around a few days with hours of usage. Comes with a charging cord. + Accidentally washed it in a washing machine and dryer, and it survived! I opened it, let it air dry and charged it after an hour or so and back to normal. Only worth the purchase if you are a dedicated Pokémon Go player.

This is the third one I had to get. The first two stopped working only after a couple weeks. When it works, it's great. Need to constantly hard reset it though. Vibrating is annoying. Lights are very bright. Too big

Sometimes it can be annoying to use. It would be nice if it worked all the time, but it can be glitchy. I've noticed that it stays charged longer than the ball though. The Pikachu sounds are adorable. The extras for in game activities is also fun.

Perfect for a Pokémon Go player. My husband recently got into playing Pokémon Go and after a while I realized he was serious about it and it’s a good way for us to bond. Lol As a surprise I got him this as I had a friend advised that this is a great accessory for the game and player. Let’s say he was ecstatic! Lol Like some ppl say it does vibrate loud, reminds me of the old school phones or other pleasurable toy settings. lol Setting up was easy, playing it is easy. It does seem fragile so I recommend buy a protector, I did. But overall perfect gift for a Pokémon Go player to help catch them all! I even bought one for me, I also wanted to catch Pokémon! lol Packaging was good and so was shipping. No damages.

Does what it is suppose to do. Catches Pokémon while fighting gyms, Raiding, checking Pokémon stats, and it’ll keep catching while you leave the game running in the background. 9/2/23 community day just went by and it caught me so many charmanders. 10/10 recommend

Super helpful for spinning stops and grinding candy and stardust. I’ve even caught a hundo and some shinies with it. The bright light can be covered with tape but the loud vibration is very annoying. Still usable though.

love my new autocatcher sleep toy

JeeperzCreeperz - 2 years ago, Verified purchaser
This autocatcher is AMAZING in Go! So, I have the poke ball+ also; so, I’m basing my comparison on the former licensed Nintendo product and the latter. This thing catches much better than it’s predecessor. I can spin stops while in a car doing approx 50mph. I do not have to slow down and approach to place a Pokémon in a gym (can now be done pretty easily while driving by). To compare, I could never have achieved the amazing results I’m getting with the new catcher with my old poke ball+. Catching is random, and I catch a bunch and lose some—no worries there. As for the Pokémon Sleep game, I’ve slept with it 3 nights now, and I can’t complain of any issues with the device. I think it’s important to understand that you gotta find a good place for the puck while sleeping. I use a king size pillow, and I think the length probably helps to provide it extra space to keep it properly functional (no slipping off pillow). I also snagged a silicone case to help keep it in place on my pillow. Again, I haven’t had any issues with mine; so, maybe these tips might help if issues arise with yours. And I rigged my clip a certain way when clipped to my pillow (which I’ll picture). 😉 As for the game, I dig it. It’s chill, and I’m loving the *fun* insights about my sleep. This is my third day in a row using this device and app, and I have accrued 4 helper Pokémon: a Pikachu, cyndaquil, bulbasaur A, and bulbasaur B. Game progression feels solid and enjoyable—good job devs. In summation—I love mine, and I’m happy with the purchase.

Does what i paid for

JP - 2 years ago
It does exactly what I paid for. All these negative reviews complaining about personal minor inconveniences. This device works as intended, I catch crazy amounts of Pokémon a day while at work or on the go (I’ve purchased 300 poke balls in one day due to running out) I like how while I’m driving around it will spin poke stops for me. I’ve caught multiple shinies (during poliwag community day) I also use this device for Pokémon sleep, which I haven’t had issues with. Keep it under my pillow and I’ve never accidentally pushed the button in my sleep. Yes it does vibrate loudly when playing Pokémon go, which like I said is a personal minor inconvenience but it does not bother me as it lets me know that it is working properly but it will bother some people. My only flaws is as followed: 1) the magnetic clip that comes with it, it’s already fallen off and I’ve lost it. 2) set up and learning how to use it for Pokémon sleep was frustrating. Set up is indeed straight forward go to settings and devices. But for me I had trouble trying to get my phone to discover the device. Took about 30 mins for me to finally get it to connect. Doesn’t come with instructions on how to use with Pokémon sleep except tutorial when you first connect to sleep. Fun fact the device has to be layed on a flat surface (bed/nightstand) then hold button down to track sleep. Overall the device does what I paid for. If you play Pokémon sleep it’s worth the upgrade from a Pokémon go plus.
