    Not as strong as previous one

    I am embarrassed to admit how many times I’ve already flung my brand new phone across the room due to the pop socket coming off of the back. It’s so frustrating because previous kick out pop sockets have not done this. It will break away like you’re using the kickstand and then next thing you know you’re holding the pop sockets and your phone is on the floor.

    I loved it until . . .

    I have purchased several pop sockets over the years. I thought this would be a great addition - it was for almost a year. I remove it nightly to put on my magnetic stand by my bed. It apparently can't handle that much removal. I discovered the quality of this one is not good.

    I keep dropping my iPhone 17 whenever I hold it with the pop socket only (facing up and phone down). The magnet isn’t strong enough to stay connected when I don’t also hold the case. Learning to hold it differently but wish it didn’t just fall off

    So far pretty great

    I’m a fidgety person and the combo of this with the tide pool star is so satisfying. It functions as indicated and stands up to near constant flipping, spinning, etc.

    Great popsocket stand!

    This was 100% worth the purchase. I use facetime and my notes app alot for my task lists and this comes in handy to give me a stand everywhere I go. No more leaning my phone against something while facetiming just for it to slowly slide down on me. Plus being magnetic and having an interchangeable top is awesome!

    Clear should be called white

    Theres a white circle in the popsocket magsafe base. So to call it clear is a misnomer. Its not completely clear.

    Super glue to the rescue

    The metal material made this have a premium feeling… until it broke. There’s a small plastic(?) ring on the inside that holds the magnets together. It also helps the pop socket clasp open and close. The ring loosened after a couple weeks of use and made the pop socket clasp fall out of place. I was able to use some super glue to put it back and stay there. It’s been working great ever since. Hopefully it won’t happen again but it was a disappointing experience for the amount that I paid for

    Great new kick/grip!

    Not real metal

    It good in the functional sense. It's a popsocket kickout, it's a stand and grip and all that however, it's not metal. It's still plastic. The base is plastic and looks and feels like plastic, they didn't even try to make it shiny to look like metal. The the part that pops out for you to grip it looks like metal but is obviously plastic. You can tell by the feel.

    Gone but not forgotten

    I loved it while I had it, but within 24 hours of putting it onto my phone it was gone. One moment I was comfortably using my phone on the bus and the next my pop socket was no where to be found. I guess it got knocked off while I was on the bus? I miss it but I can’t afford to immediately rebuy something I only just bought, especially if it’s not going to stick around.

    I want to order more colors. I am using it on my kindle and it’s absolutely perfect. I am able to comfortably hold the kindle yet also able to stand it on a table if needed. The quality is amazing so far. Worth the money in my opinion!
