One of the better ones, a little less time to complete
This one was really interesting and fun. It was a little cheesy at times, but that’s part of the charm with these games. It took the two of us about an hour and a half to finish, which is shorter than some of the other similar games we’ve done. Some of the pictures were pretty obviously A.I.-generated, which was noticeable, but it didn’t ruin it. The storyline kept us engaged and we actually had to think through it. I would definitely say 18+ for age range. There are references to substances and other adult themes. Overall though, we enjoyed it and would recommend it if you like this style of game.

How the mighty have fallen :(
Fun as always but I’m extremely disappointed with the lazy use of generative AI for the images and most of the statements. It made it feel a lot less like playing a performance and more like a bland mass produced product.

Please don’t buy this game! Complete AI garbage, the older games had way more effort. All of the clues were AI images and the game was way shorter than it usually is. I highly recommend playing to earlier games, it seems they really gave up on making good quality games.

Ai Slop
Completely AI generated. From the crime scene photos to even the witness statements. This game felt so lifeless and lazy. Majority of the evidence was crime scene photos- at least 50 pictures to sort through!! We made our guesses just from the first batch of evidence and we ended up being right. The only reason this game has a decent rating is because they paid a bunch of influencers to give it 5 stars. Would NOT recommend!!

Dont buy this one!
I have done one other of these games and it was way better. This one the main “evidence” is AI generated photos… which could be ok but I immediately noticed a difference in one of the photos but it meant nothing in the first round. In the second round of the game an immediately notice another discrepancy but again that’s not needed to get me to the next round. This game is just not laid out well. I would not recommend this one at all. Try the Avery and Zoey Gardner Game instead.

Immediately Disappointed
Upon opening the box, I could tell that they didn't put enough effort in this case. The main items were just pictures and they were mostly AI. The uncanny pictures were really distracting and inconsistent. I couldn't tell if some of the evidence was actual evidence or an artificial error. Spoiler warning here, the plot was also too obvious. Paying nearly 30 dollars for a mystery that is not on par with previous releases is a waste, and I regret that I can't get my money back. I am an avid fan of this game but I will not be buying until they go back and review the quality of their products.

Save your money and buy HaK instead
was quite disappointed with the lack of physical evidence but having to play spot the difference with AI photos is ridiculous. most of the time the people look completely different from one photo to the next. not to mention my first guess within ten minutes of opening the box ended up being right. so that was disappointing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unsolved Case Files is an engaging game, especially if you’re into detective shows and enjoy piecing together clues. The case feels immersive with all the photos, reports, and evidence laid out like a real investigation. That said, it’s best suited for ages 12+ definitely not for younger kids since the storyline and details are more mature. If you like solving mysteries and want that “cold case detective” experience at home, this is a fun pick.

When I received this game I was not expecting it be as challenging as it is, it makes you use your brain and examine all of the provided ‘evidence’ in great detail! The details and packaging make you feel like you’re actually working on solving a crime.

Fun filled game
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pressman unsolved case filed is fun filled game. I got this for my kid birthday. This game comes very nicely packaged. It comes with all the components. It has a story, then all the components. It has a nice brainstorming exercise for kids, to find clues and get the final answer. This is definitely fun for my kid.

Super fun family game time

It was challenging and totally awesome. We all absolutely loved it. The packing is so cool looks like a real sealed case file. So cool. It s so well made! We cannot wait to buy more of these!!
