I have a lot of trouble swallowing pills so this form of ginseng is perfect for me! However, instead of using the straws enclosed to drink it, I remove the rubber ring and aluminum-ringed top from the bottle with a can opener and pour the contents into my morning juice. It's very convenient for me and tastes good mixed with my orange and cranberry juice. Also the 400 mg size of ginseng in one bottle is perfect to prevent colds and flu via a recent Canadian study. It works!

No wonder this was a favorite of Chinese Emperors for so long. This extra strength Korean Red Ginseng is the best there is. It's great to help you recover from overtraining/complete exhaustion/honeymoons/working too hard etc. Swanson's price just cannot be beat on this by any local health food store. Prince of Peace makes a terrific extract. I've taken this for 30+ years now.

my rating of a 1 is probably not completely fair, but the taste was so awful that I could not get past the first bottle. I had my husband taste it too and he almost spit it out on the carpet! I'm looking for a capsule that we can take instead.

I have been taking one of these Prince of Peace vials of Red Panax Ginseng extract every day for several years now. Unlike others have noted in some of the reviews here, I do not get any discernible 'energizing' effect from the ginseng, and could take it immediately prior to going to sleep. I take Red Panax Ginseng because it's a noted 'adaptogen', and as such, tends to do 'its work' wherever needed in the body. That's the basic definition of an adaptogen; they tend to balance and harmonize bodily functions as a whole and help the body to adapt to stress. Taking it just makes me feel good, and makes me believe I am better prepared to cope with Life. Plus, I think it tastes great! Swanson offers a great price on this product as well.

My Husband has a very stressful job and his was staying tired all of the time. He would come home and go to sleep as soon as he sit down. This Ginseng really helped and he does not have all the bad side effects you get from energy drinks.

I was pleased with this product. It has a potent flavor. They are sealed with a metal cap which makes them very hard to open. There needs to be an opener for these vials. Every product made by this company that I have every tried has been very good.
