Disappointed with low quality

I was excited for this watch and love the look and style. For the price I expected far better quality. Just a couple months of daily wear caused the wrist band to crack and peel on the inside. It claims to be genuine leather, but I have never had a watch band do this before. I wish I had returned it in the eligible return window, but life got busy and I still liked it so I wore it anyway for a while longer. Then the battery died far sooner than expected. Either that or it’s broken. But I didn’t expect any of these issues at this price point. I should have stuck with a trusty $40 Timex.
