Proteolytic Enzymes
Enzymes perform many functions, including helping break down food for energy. In particular, proteolytic enzymes help break down and digest protein. They’re found in the body, as well as in certain foods and dietary supplements.

Doctor's Best Proteolytic Enzymes didn't deliver as I had hoped.
Any improvement in my overall health was minimal with this product. I was in hopes it would be helpful as I took it regularly according to the directions. Gave it two stars on the outside chance that it was doing some good but just not noticeable. Won't buy again nor recommend it to a friend.

Not for me
I had a very negative reaction the the proteolytic enzymes, and have discarded the bottle. They seem to sap my energy severely. Likewise for the nattokinase. It took me a long time to make the connection, but after adding the proteolytic enzymes, it became apparent.

Hurray, it works!
It works, I take it for pain in my left leg/joints. I take 2 caps per day in between meals and could reduce intake of ibyprofen and walk better.

Great product
This is one of the cheaper ones, but is very effective. I have gotten rid of a lot of excess junk from my body. I feel better, move easier and my tummy is flatter. I take it on an empty stomach.

Personal Goal
After careful research, I chose this product to help with an experiment I am trying that, in combination with EDTA and a couple of other cleansing supplements, may help improve circulation. While I can make no claims about the effectiveness of this technique, I have a good feeling about the potential results.

Powerful stuff
The product is great, but if you are eating a balanced diet a full spectrum enzyme is better, IMO. The "Disgruntled review(er) above should do the following: open a cap, sprinkle some of the enzymes on a raw or cooled down cooked piece of meat, or other hi-protein, low fiber food, and see what happens. This will "show" what happens in the reviewer's gut. Whether or not heorshe feels better is up for grabs. I like Doctor's Best in general as the ingredients seem to be minimal other than what you need, and I prefer the full spectrum enzymes.

Can't begin to tell if these pills work. They are very inconvenient to take.

Great product
Proteolytic enzymes are so helpful in keeping the body healthy. 85% of communication between our cells is between enzymes. Awesome product. Been taking it for over a year.
