• Puzzle artist: Born in Kyiv, Ukraine, Sophie Clima is an artist and designer influenced by her uncle, a renowned Lithuanian artist, actor, and producer, from whom she first studied art. In 1998, while pursuing an MBA, she sold her first painting to a small gallery in Cambridge. Inspired by the vibrant works of Lilly Pulitzer, Sophie creates colorful worlds filled with joyful people, places, and animals. Her love for Florida and its bright, summery vibe further fuels her creative endeavors. Today, her work embodies a fusion of diverse artistic influences, blending the richness of her Ukrainian heritage with the lively, cheerful spirit of the Sunshine State. Sophie offers her art through various platforms, including Etsy, Saatchi Art, and Spoonflower, where she provides fun paintings, custom portraits, giclée prints, and vibrant patterns for fabric and home decor.
