Description
This beautiful eight-light rustic-transitional island chandelier has a steel ring frame in distressed weathered oak, and contrasting textured slated gray metal arms. The lights glow inside cylinders of clear seeded glass. Damp-rated for high-moisture sheltered environments such as bathrooms or covered patios. Edison vintage-style bulbs are a perfect choice for its exposed bulb design. You can also useenergy-efficient LED medium base replacement bulbs (both sold separately). From the Generation Lighting brand, formerly know as Feiss lighting.

However, I had to make some modifications to the mounts to make it work in my home. The lamp advertises being able to adjust to a sloped ceiling. That is true but only from side-to-side, not longways. The existing hardware could not rotate in the mounting hole because it was flattened on the sides. I drilled out the hole slightly to accommodate the loops that I purchased. The supplied lock washers and nuts were able to be used. I used the loops and leftover lamp chain I had from a previous lamp installation. I had to paint them to match the color of the chandelier. The color match was very good. I measured the slope of the ceiling to be 10 degrees. To account for the slope, I added one extra chain loop to the high side. I replaced the supplied anchors with heavier duty drywall anchors, which I believe offers a much more secure attachment to the ceiling. I used washers with the matching screws. Definitely need two people to do the installation. Make sure you turn off the breaker and check with a voltmeter to make sure the power is off at the connections. I installed LED Edison bulbs with a dimmer. Looks great!
