This bar and the lemon cake bar - both from pure protein brand - are the 2 best tasting IMO. Other reviewers are bashing this because it because they think it does not taste sugary enough…. what do they expect if it's low sugar low carbs? If you are looking for a protein bar based on just taste and not because you're eliminating sugars from your diet, then of course it's going to taste bland (because your tastebuds are desensitized to sweetness). If you are eliminating sugar from your diet (because of a weight loss plan, or diabetes), this is the perfect protein bar for you! For those of us who are on sugarfree/ low sugar/ low carbs, this protein bar tastes perfectly sweet enough. I have lost over 85 lbs in the past 18months by eliminating sugary & high carb foods from my diet. These bars from Pure Protein are the perfect treat midday. Enjoy it with a spoonful of peanutbutter for a super highprotein snack! You are welcome!:)

went into this optimistically with high expectations. it is very bland, definitely my least favorite flavor from this brand. i wanted to like this but would not buy again. if you want cookies and cream, buy quest.

The flavor isn't terrible, but it's very bland for what you'd expect. I feel like the sugar alcohol just overpowers everything. I've tried the other flavors of Pure Protein bars and this one just isn't it. Plus what's more ridiculous is that this flavor is $4 more for a box than other flavors! That alone makes this not worth the purchase.
