Pureology Hydrate Shampoo 33.8 oz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was surprised to see a new formula and scent for the hydrate shampoo as this has been my go to, perfect shampoo for years. The new formula leaves my hair dry, dull and with no volume or shape whatsoever. So disappointing. I do not understand why brands need to improve successful formulations until they ruin the product. My formerly instantly great hair post shampoo is now a depressing sight with a lingering scent that is bothersome.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shampoo felt good, as I was using it. Felt clean at first. The scent is very over powering for me tho. I can tell there is a good amount of oil in it, as it feels a little heavy on my hair. It did leave my hair shinier than before.

I just started using Smooth Perfection a year ago and now it's discontinued...not happy about that. The last time my favorite product was discontinued I didn't come back to Pureology for a decade. Will seenhow long hydrate lasts.

It cleans well, moisturizes my highlighted/color-treated hair, leaves my hair smooth and healthy looking, doesn't feel heavy and smells nice. Occasionally I've tried other shampoos, but I always come back to Hydrate Shampoo. I prefer it to other Pureology shampoos as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very comedogenic. I got bumps on my forehead and wherever it touched on my face. I started washing my face again with pore cleanser after shampooing. I have tried both shampoo and conditioner separately and surprisingly it was the shampoo that was clogging pores badly. The hair felt more smooth after shampooing but rough/dry after conditioning which is also weird. Overall not satisfied.
