Q: A pressure cooker/instant pot takes about 10 minutes to come to temperature. Is this pyrex bowl ok to use? There are conflicting answers from many sources.
A: Hey there, thanks for the question! We do not recommend using this Pyrex container in the Instant Pot as it hasn't been tested for that purpose. Take care!
submitted byInstant Brands Support - 3 years agoBrand expertA: I have used Pyrex inside a pressure cooker to steam rice. Glass dish and pressure cooker should be at room temperature, after which you can preheat the cooker. Use a rack below the dish.

Q: Can these containers go from the fridge into a hot oven? Thanks
A: Hello Anne! No we do not recommend going straight from the fridge to a hot oven. While Pyrex containers are completely safe to use in both the fridge and fully preheated ovens, you need to let the dish warm up to room temperature before placing it right in the oven to avoid breakage. Thanks!
