Wirecutter recommended these cotton percale sheets, touting them as crisp and cool to sleep on, and I’ve always trusted wirecutter’s team of testers, but boy did they get this one wrong! Horrible. Can’t sleep on them because they are wayyy too warm. My ac is set to 61degrees all night and they still don’t get cool! Wish I could return them but already washed and slept on them, hoping they would get better as I used them. That’s a hard “ no”!

We bought these and very similar sheets from Company Store at the same time. The latter sheets were almost twice the price, but you otherwise couldn’t really tell the difference between both. In fact, the Target sheets had extra reinforcement at the corners, while the others did not. Otherwise, it almost looked as if both of these sets came out of the same factory.

We have to return it, as they sent us two flat sheets, no bottom sheet and no pillow cases. It also smelled so badly, I’ve never had bedding absolutely stink upon opening it

When I washed the first time the fitted sheet totally changed colors. Flat sheet and pillowcase are exactly the same. Not sure what happened. Attaching photo of pillowcase on left, fitted sheet in middle, flat sheet on right, and bag they came in on bottom.

As some other reviewers have said the bottom sheet is too big and doesn’t fit tightly in the mattress. Also, after washing the wide hems on both the top sheet and pillow cases came out super wrinkly and no longer lay flat. Very disappointed.

These are the coolest sheets I own - just bought a second set. I prefer them over my set of linen sheets. They are crisp and cool, my favorites for the hottest nights when the a/c isn't enough. I don't find them scratchy. They do wrinkle especially at the top and bottom of the flat sheet coming out of the dryer, a little on the pillowcases too, but not enough to bother me. I'd give them 4.5 stars but still round up to 5.

The print is beautiful and i love that they’re organic but they’re so stiff and i find them warm not cooling at all which is why I bought percale. Disappointed. Glad i got them on sale but still not what I expected. Hope they get softer

Item was supposed be percale and item packaging said percale, but when opened it was clear that someone had stuffed the package with a jersey knit sheet set (perhaps a customer return) that had also been washed in very fragerent fabric softner. Now that we've returned it we can't replace with a correct item because the applicable sale price has expired.
