Cool Touch Mattress Pad - Threshold™

This mattress pad/protector does not leak at all, but it did make tearing noises if I pulled it too hard from the corners of the bed while removing it. The stitching was torn and stringy after putting it in the wash and it takes 2 drying cycles on no heat. It also stains easily.

The mattress pad I bought is amazing! We love it and it fits perfectly on our queen size bed. Pockets are good and deep to secure it on the mattress without sliding around. It really is " cool " and feels great for a good nights sleep. I highly recommend this mattress pad.

its a average quality, the stretchy sides arent the best material compared to more expensive ones but the top does the job without spending a fortune. Dogs sleep on bed and this protects agaisnt the ocasional dog puke or or wet dogs.

Fits great on our king sized bed. Also fits in our washer and drier. Not crinkly or plastic-feeling. Love the waterproof feature. Definitely cool to touch initially, but I don't notice a "cooling effect" during sleep, but it's still comfortable anyway. My only problem with it has been that it's almost too silky smooth. The corners of my fitted sheet frequently pop off, especially if we're shifting/turning during sleep. I had never had this problem before using this mattress cover. Overall, the good outweighs the bad for me.

Easy to wash and doesn't make weird noises and is cushy under sheets. Not sure if it did any cooling but it was so hot this year who could tell. It did protect my mattress from how much I was sweating. Held up well thru a nasty summer hopefully lasts many more

I just got this mattress pad to replace my foam pad which was making me too hot at night. When I first put on this pad it made a lot of noise when I moved around because I also have a mattress protector. I put a fitted sheet between this pad and the mattress protector and it silenced any noise it was making. It is super soft, cooling and comfortable. Exactly what I was looking for at a reasonable price too.

This protector does exactly what I hoped! A new bed for my child who is elementary school age, and she wet the bed. The new mattress remained 100% dry!

What the description and photos don't mention is there is a thick plastic tarp-like layer under the fabric side. It has such a bizarre low-quality look, feel, and noise to it. I would be afraid to put it in my washing machine, and I'm certainly not going to sleep on a weird plastic tarp that makes crinkly noises. Very unsightly too. This is not a simple soft fabric matress topper, it's totally weird. Would NOT recommend.

I love this mattress pad, it has helped from getting stains on my mattress while potty training my child.

I wasn't sure about this based on the mixed reviews, but I love it so much! I needed a new mattress pad and I did some research online before I went to the store. Once there, I checked out all of the options - I had thought I was going to get the Threshold Performance one, but I'm glad I didn't - that one sounded way too noisy for me. This one is very soft and I didn't find it noisy at all, especially when compared to the others! It was on sale for $32, so that was a bonus! I took it home and laundered it in cold/delicate cycle as instructed. My apt building has front loaders so that wasn't an issue for me. I did dry it on high though, because I just knew a bulky item like this would take awhile to dry. No issues with drying it on high, so that was good!! I did need to 2 cycles to dry though, but that was expected. I also separately washed my duvet insert and blanket and those also need 2 rounds when drying, so I'm used to that. It washed great and didn't shrink at all. I slept so well last night! I found it to be cooling, even with the cotton fitted sheet over it. Obviously if you lay in one position for awhile, that cooling effect goes away, but then whenever I changed position I definitely noticed the coolness of the new spot, which felt refreshing. I didn't have any issues with overheating or sweating like some of the reviews, but every body is different! I'm really glad I took a chance on this one and tried it, and that it worked for me. I'm super happy with it. The material is very soft and it washed so well. Plus it has really deep sides which is perfect for my mattress. Overall I am very pleased and would recommend this mattress pad to anyone.

Great buy! Quality bed protective topper it even had a cooling feel when I put it on my new mattress. I would definitely recommend!

Threshold delivers again. Great product, great quality, great price!

This was a very disappointing purchase because normally the quality of Threshold items is so high. I didn’t see that it said waterproof until I got it home, but decided to try anyway. The plastic was so LOUD when it was sat on or moved, it was like having an adult-size toddler bed. Maybe not quite as loud as lining your bed with plastic shopping sacks, but close enough. It was removed almost immediately and will be returned ASAP. 0/10 recommend.
