[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shade might appear quite opaque but it’s actually quite bright. I think it looks very nice above our stairs, though I can decide if I want to raise it a bit or not. Install was pretty easy. My husband had a little background in electrical and he thought everything was up to the current standard and made things simple. There was plenty of grounding cable (where are people running this to..?) and everything is labeled clearly.

The installation is difficult for me because I’m trying to purchase a taller ladder to hang in my front entrance where you come in my house. The quality looks strong, sturdy, and I think it will last for a long time in my house. I bought the bulbs that will go perfect with it and it’s energy saving too. I think the retail price is worth buying

However, the installation was pretty easy. The frame of the fixture itself is pretty lightweight. This also helps during instillation time. The light looks beautiful. It is very simplistic, but elegant at the same time. I would definitely consider purchasing from this company again.
