Surf away from the sea
So cool. The kids both have these and love them to be able to surf when there are no waves. different to skating but similar vibes. great fun and while tricky to start, you get it quickly.

I'm in love!!
I bought this about a year ago and I have had so much fun, you look awesome riding it btw, only downsize to it is that you have to replace the weals often because of how much you shred, but it is just amazing!

Beautiful! But not good over cracks
Really fun! Very beautiful design. Came with an extra wheel. I used to ride a ripstick and this is pretty easy to catch on to. Only complaints: plastic wears pretty easily against the concrete. Wheels are quite narrow and small—easy to fall when you go over cracks

HAD to have one. Worth the wait.
This the first Razor product I have ever used. Just got it a couple days ago, and rode it for the first time today. Keep in mind I'm almost 40. Having surfed for years, and skated a little years ago, I instantly loved the idea. So I looked online, and couldn't find one ANYWHERE. So I signed up for email notification, and waited. After a month or so of waiting (don't know if this is typical or not), I finally got an email that they were in stock at one of Razor's retail partners. So I immediately went online to buy one. By the time I had checked my email that day around noon, one color was already sold out. By the end of the day they were GONE. Never having used a RIPSTICK, I was unsure what to expect. After remembering a KEY comment I had read online, it made a little more sense. It is a little different than surfing, in that you use your front foot for stability, and maneuver using your back foot. At least to get momentum. Once you have some momentum, you can do deeper carves more like you would surfing. By the end of the day, I was able to use it a little more comfortably, and not fall so much. BOTTOM LINE: SOOO much fun! Worth the wait. Sing up for email notification, and get one.

CARVING CONCRETE!
When I first got my rip surf, I could barely ride it. Now that I have had a lot of practice, I am doing 180s, cutbacks, tik tacs, wheelies, and more!! It's sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo fun!!!!!

Brilliant. Worth the perseverance.
I bought this to work on my windsurfing wave technique and I can attest to the fact that it is very very similar to the feel when cutting back and doing a bottom turn. Very very impressed. It's awesome fun - but you'll need to spend some time getting inside of your ripsurf. Just make sure you wear wrist guards.

When I saw it I had to have it
It reminds me of these old school games I used to play where people rode on hoverboards. The RipSurf is a great product, doing exactly what it says it does. It will give you the feeling of skateboarding mixed in with the carving and freedom of surfing. The product is beautiful and well built and so far worth the money I paid for it. Cons are: the wheels are wearing out awfully fast but at least they give you a spare one. I think more documentation and explanation is needed for spare wheels. My understanding is that it can take RipStick wheels but it's not immediately clear. Also, it's pretty dangerous. When you fall you fall HARD and you might fall when you don't expect it. That's also part of the fun, so please be careful with it and don't try anything crazy at first, watch out for wet surfaces and cracks in the pavement and wear protective gear if you can. Aside from that it's very fun and I enjoy taking it out to ride around while people stare and wonder what the heck I'm on. ;)
