A: This particular item can only be used on one side of the bed. If you purchase the double sided bed rail, it can be used on both sides.

A: No. All of our bed rails, with the exception of the Convertible Crib Rail, need to be used with a mattress and box spring and can be use on a bed no larger than a queen size.

Terrible Directions
This was very hard to put together for a simple little bed gate. The directions are terrible. Maybe mine is defective?

Extra long, but only works on a queen. Ours came and looked like there had been moisture on the box had to clean it really good to use it.
