Q: Hi It says these are unfinished, are they raw wood or do they have a clear coat or anything like that on it, I can stain these any color I want? Thanks

A: Yes, this is unfinished wood. There is no clear coat applied to the wood. It is pre-sanded and you will be able to paint or stain the item any color you choose. Some customers also leave it as is for a natural look. Hope this helps!

American made quality!
I bought this stool to set my Berkey water filter on. It is perfect! No assembly, just lifted it out of the box. I was so happy to see on the underside a sticker that said it was made in Thomasville, NC!! American made made me happy. Excellent quality. Since it is unfinished, I applied a quick coat of wood conditioner, then a coat of Howards Restore-A-Finish with a rag, let it dry then applied a coat of Howard’s Feed-N-Wax. Very quick and easy and it looks amazing!
