Q: I lost the manual so I can’t figure out how to lower my barstools. They are now at 29 inches from the top of the seat to the floor and I need them to be 24 inches. Can I have some help please? Thank you in advance

A: The company provides a set of 24" leg attachments, part G. You need to take off the 29" (part H)ones and replace them with the 24" ones.

Q: The seat on the black looks like it's a "faux" leather in the picture rather than a fabric. Is that the case? I want to put this on my balcony so want to be able to easily dry the seat if it gets wet in the rain.

I plan to keep a towel on the seat cover (it is a faux leather) to protect it from the sun and UV rays. It was easy to put together and while maybe just a little small, it is plenty stout and rigid (I'm 6-2 and 200 pounds). Pretty much exactly what I was looking for and at this price point, if it lasts even a year, I'll be satisfied. Thanks.

A: Comes with required Allen wrench. I didn't find any need for a Philips head screwdriver.

As for the height adjustment, the stool comes with two sets of legs - a set for 24" and a set for 29". In order to change the height you would swap the legs out.

Falling apart after 2 months
Do not buy. After two months I have had most of the screws strip as you tighten it, becuase it is always lose. I have since replaced all the screws with bolts and that seemed to help. Now there is grease ozzing out from the bearing that is tripping on the carpet. It will end up in the dumbster soon.

It didn't even last me 2 weeks. I bought it for work. It's so wobbly and so imbalanced, it hurts trying to sit even on it. I bought it knowing it was a cheap chair. But I figured it'd at least last 3 months. There's a grease? Or something oozing out of the swivel part. I don't understand.

Loose bearings
These stools were easy to put together and came with stems for low and high bars. The rotation function was loose and wobbly. My son has a wiggly bottom and over the past 3 years the ball bearings have been falling out. It's not a very stable chair.

We originally purchased two. The first one the parts were so badly damaged we could not even set it up. We exchanged it and tried to set up the new one and again, the pieces are so damaged the chair cannot be assembled. Out of three purchased only one was able to be assembled. The chair itself is fine. The seat is small and not too comfortable. I was nervous to purchase after reading some of the reviews and unfortunately this is a truly terrible product.
