Rubbermaid 96 Cubic Feet Low-Profile Slide Lid Outdoor Storage Shed | 1800005

I bought this product about nine months ago. It did not last well along the snow. The roof metal bent and fell because it doesn’t like sliding back-and-forth real easily not worth the money.

CAUTION! RE THINK BEFORE PURCHASE. THIS SHED WAS VERY EXPENSIVE AND STARTED TO FALL APART AND BREAK LESS THEN A YEAR.

This is a great product if you are looking for a three year shed. It will take several days to assemble and then you can watch the roof sag and the parts rust. (And i Iive in Arizona where there is zero rain.) the rust was so bad that the weight of the roof caused the frame to collapse. This product should be recalled and fully refunded. It's a travesty that Rubbermaid put their name on this thing.

I bought around 2 years ago, and I can see why the warranty is only one year. The plastic parts are much thinner and held together by 100s of screws, making it extremely prone to cracking (like the plastic hinge fastener everyone including myself finds breaking). I should’ve returned it as soon as I saw the steps to put it together, but didn’t have much option as your slide shed from 15 years ago was discontinued (that design was perfect too…). Various screws also started rusting all over out of nowhere, although it hasn’t caused an issue quite yet. Construction was a pain too: the roof came in multiple pieces and the required putting together some odd to line up metal parts for support. Cannot recommend this or other rubbermaid products in any situation unless they bring back simpler (no wheels, way less screws and parts), sturdier, thicker solutions. Everything fails in exactly the way your intuition tells you it will. For the price you’d think it’d be better quality than something off Temu.

Purchased this 3 years ago because I couldn't get a Suncast at the time. The roof stopped sliding back within the first 6 months so if you want to open it, you have to stand on the side and "lift" the rear part of the front roof and slide back-but careful you don't pinch your fingers. then you can return to the front and slide it back fully. I hated this so much I gave it to my neighbor for free and bought a different brand shed. Life is too short for such aggravation from a poorly designed product.

its ok, does the job but the lid doesn't slide back. tried fixing it multiple ways. just have to duck to walk inside.

We bought this shed over 5 years ago and we are very happy with it. During a tornado, the hinges of the doors broke off, we got them replaced and have had NO leaks or issues with the shed. Only thing the roof slopes a little. But very happy, now just need the shelves for the back of the shed.

Do not buy this!!! I’m here because I’m ordering door hinges for the SECOND time…… And the roof sags. I had to screw a piece of sheet metal on the rear roof portion so I could actually open it. It acts like a ramp. I would NOT recommend buying this.

I was in the process of purchasing one of these sheds but after reading the many reviews and the problems, I will continue my search because getting the value for my hard earned money is very important to me. I thank all the owners who wrote reviews and sorry for their predicament. I had always herd the Rubbermaid was a great product, so great I had someone else's experience to stop me from making a mistake.

This thing is good for two seasons. Roof sags after a year, hinges snap after 2 years. Really carppy quality.

Everyone seems to have same problem with the roof not sliding without pushing up from the back bottom of lid, and the hinges keep breaking. Get your upgraded nylon hinges in production and get them shipping. As for the lid do a better engineering job. It can’t be this hard. Other then those 2 major issues the shed is great.

Right after we got it the hinges on both sides of the front doors broke off. Wish I had not purchased this shed.

Left hinge broke after only several uses. Slide does not always open smoothly. Have to hit it upwards and slide for it to open.Don't know where to get new parts.components are very cheaply made and won't last.

We have this shed and like many others our hinges broke it’s impossible to find replacements

HAVE HAD MINE FOR A WHILE, JUST HAVE TO DEAL WITH THE TOP DOOR HINGES BREAKING ABOUT EVERY 2 YEARS THEN TRYIHNG TO FIND REPLACEMENTS, THE LINK TO YOU USER MANUAL IS BROKE SO I CANT COME UP WITH A PART NUMBER TO ORDER ONE.

We bought 2 of these over 4 years ago and have been very happy with both of them. We store our riding mower in one of them. It works well to open the lid to drive it in and out of the building. I would recommend it to anyone who has limited space and needs storage.

I bought this shed a few years ago. I am having the same problem that multiple people have shared. I need new hinges for the top of the doors (mine snapped in high winds) and the roof no longer slides. I don't see a place to purchase replacement hinges. Please have a customer service rep contact me.

I purchased this shed and within 2 months of purchase both hinges snapped off the 3T16 6 hinge on the top left and also the one on the top right

Seems Im not the only one having issues and have not found a solution to broken hinges. What is permanent fix or how do procure replacements. Also roof is difficult to open. Hinges 3T16 & 3T17

I bought the shed less than a year ago, the first few months the shed operated well. Of note, I followed the assembly instructions and even leveled and tamped the soil prior to installation. I am OCD, so I likely went above and beyond recommended installation. Issues: - A few months of the summer heat and the slide lid sagged to the point it would no longer slide. - Then the upper door hinges snapped due to the "settling" from the warping. - Then the doors would then no longer shut and align with the metal lock attachment, which is attached to the slide lid. Essentially, a complete loss of functionality. I can "rig" the doors to stay on for a day or so, but they fall off with strong winds. For the money I do not recommend this product. Really disappointed.
