Was I a little hesitant spending $900 on a bed from target? Absolutely. But ohhhh was I proved wrong because this bed is BEAUTIFUL. I bought the full size in Whitaker gingham berry for my four year old’s room and it is perfect. Pros: - packaged extremely carefully/well - excellent quality of fabric/construction (at least for mine), no loose threads or faulty seams - colors are more beautiful in person (the pink looks a tad brighter online than in person IMO and I actually prefer that it’s slightly more muted tones in person), this is a beautiful statement piece in both the style and gingham pattern itself - relatively easy to assemble, easiest with two people - sits low to the ground which is nice for a four year old to get in and out of (also not a far drop to the floor if one falls out at night lol) Cons - I did buy it full price so it stung a little when it dropped to the 700s (after the window for price adjustment closed) - because of how the metal piece attaches the headboard to the rest of the bed, I couldn’t find a way to fully get rid of the slight gap between the headboard and the rest of the frame, no matter what I did. Not a deal breaker, just wish it would sit flush - I think the black legs cheapen the look, I wish they were wood or a faux wood, but maybe that’s just personal preference - took a month to ship, so if you need it right away, that won’t be happening All in all, I am absolutely pleased with this purchase. I expect it to last basically forever based on the quality. It’s so so beautiful in person
