Ingredients:

a sterile, isotonic, buffered solution that contains boric acid, sodium borate, potassium chloride, and sodium chloride; preserved with polyaminopropyl biguanide (0.00003%) and edetate disodium (0.025%).

Do not use this solution if you are allergic to any ingredient in this product., WARNING: Failure to discard solution from the lens case after each use, "topping off" solution or use of water to care for your lenses may lead to contamination, resulting in eye injury and potential loss of vision. See accompanying instructions for additional important safety information. SEE INSIDE OF CARTON FOR COMPLETE INSTRUCTIONS AND IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION. Saline Solution is NEVER to be used for soft or gas permeable contact lens disinfection. DO NOT use Saline Solution for the disinfection or storage of contact lenses. This product should only be used for rinsing of contact lenses and lens cases., DO NOT USE IF IMPRINTED NECKBAND ON BOTTLE IS BROKEN OR MISSING., Not for use as a disinfectant, PRECAUTIONS: Never re-use this solution.   • A: Hi Summer. Saline solution should never be used for lens disinfection. Saline solution is used for rinsing soft (hydrophilic) and gas permeable contact lenses after cleaning and before lens insertion with chemical (not heat) and hydrogen peroxide systems.

Not for rinsing!

Not sure why everyone is complaining about the price when other products are $16<. My one star is based solely on rinsing my hard lenses. It does not rinse debris off. It’s so annoying! I was hopeful because of the price but too hopeful.

Wow, quite a price increase

Wow, I've used this item for Many, Many years. It's a good product at a great price. I see now that it's jumped $3 since the last time I bought it...$3. It was only $4.99 to start with. That's a ridiculous price increase. I guess I have to start shopping around. It's a shame.

Find a cheaper option

I’ve been buying this saline solution regularly for years because it was a great budget-friendly option. But increasing the price from $4.99 to $7.19—a 44% jump—is completely unjustified. It’s the exact same product, yet the price skyrocketed overnight. At this point, it’s no longer a good value, and I’ll be looking for a cheaper alternative. Very disappointing.

No longer a bargain

I have been buying Up & Up saline solution for a long time (ten years, maybe longer) and always appreciated the opportunity to get a quality product at a budget-friendly price. So maybe I was spoiled, right? Did I think that the good times could go on forever? Imagine my chagrin to discover a few days ago that this product is no longer budget-friendly. At one fell swoop Target upped the price by a couple of bucks, which amounts to an inflationary spiral of roughly 25% for those willing to pay. No, thanks. In future I'll be shopping elsewhere for saline solution.

needs clearer information of intended use

does not disclose in a clear enough manner on the outside of the packaging that it is only meant for rinsing lenses and not storing them. very frustrating to realize just before going to bed requiring me to leave the house and go purchase an alternate lens solution actually meant for storage.
