Sax Sulphite Drawing Paper, 90 lb, 12 x 18 Inches, Extra-White, 500 Sheets

I purchased this product for many years. The paper is much different this year. It's much thinner and doesn't take some of the media we use very well. It's labeled as 90lb paper but can't be due to how thin this is. I don't plan on purchasing this paper again unless Sax can prove the quality has returned.

The Sax Sulphite 90# drawing paper is the only one I use in my elementary art classroom. I use for painting, collage, marker, oile pastel, crayon. Stands up to any material. Highly recommend.

We regularly purchase this drawing paper through Amazon for our art studio classes and camps and we have always been happy with the quality of the paper. When we received our most recent order, we realized that the quality of the paper was much poorer than usual. It is definitely not the same 90lb paper we have always purchased. This paper is much thinner, to the point that you can see through it. It wrinkles much more than usual when acrylic or watercolor paint is applied, and it easily pills when using watercolors. We will use the paper that we have already purchased for oil pastels and pencil drawings, but we are unable to use it for painting due to the fact that the condition of the paper takes away from the integrity of the students' artwork. We will not be repurchasing this paper.

excellent thick paper! As a K-8 art teacher, I use this for painting or any mixed media. It holds up wonderfully to liquid tempura & watercolors. If it ever wrinkles a tiny bit, I just flatten it, or iron in the back. Love this paper! I use Sax 50-70lb just for drawing or markers.

This is nice quality paper. It holds up well with paint. Pricing is fair.

I bought this paper last year and it was amazing. I had one ream left. For some reason I went with different paper this year and have so many regrets. I am never cutting corners again... We live and we learn.

I have been buying this paper for over 10 years! It is hands down the best for multi media! Big kids and little can use this paper!!

I teach 6th-12th grade art classes and this is my go-to paper for both wet and dry media. Nice weight and tooth for lots of different media and a great price to top it off!!!

Great paper for a variety of uses including drawing and painting with tempera an any other medium.

This is the third time I have come back to order this paper. I simply can't find paper for my students that is this versatile anywhere else (I teach 6th-12th graders). I use it for pencil, chalk pastel, acrylic and tempera paint with my 6th-8th graders, and for graphite, water soluble colored pencils, and pen and ink with my 9th-12th graders. It holds up to lots of abuse- even from those erasers!
