Despite reading other reviews of how difficult the assembly is, which is a bit trying with the lack of space for tightening the corner screws with the included assembly tool, I still purchased and was able to assemble these chairs. However, one of the legs for the chair broke, just by our teenage daughter sitting in the chair, during one of her online learning classes...how embarrassing! I have tried using wood glue to fix the chair, but apparently the Malaysian balsa wood that these chairs are made from is just not strong and I'm sure it'll just be a matter of time until we have 2 broken chairs.

They’re nice looking chairs but the quality isn’t that great. Two of the chairs arrived with separated joints and broken dowels. I’m pretty handy so rather than deal with the hassle of returning and replacing we just repaired them. Build was a little difficult and ended up using some specialty tools I had to make assembly easier. I guess I get what I paid for with this one.

Difficult to assemble

Really like the look of these chairs and that they have an easy to clean seat cushion, but the biggest downfall to this chair is the ASSEMBLY. It is SO difficult. The space to put in the screws with the allen wrench is not wide or large enough. Makes it very difficult to get in there an turn the allen wrench. As a result scraped knuckles and a twist, realign, twist, realign. You have to have a lot of patience because each chair takes a while. They have to figure out a better way to assemble these. We ended up returning them for our money back as we purchased 6 chairs and took about 1 hour to do just 2 chairs.

These chairs are slightly difficult to put together - mainly because the space where the screws go is a tight fit and doesn't allow for a full turn of the allen key - therefore, it can take a little time to put the chairs together. However, they are sturdy and the cushion is somewhat tough, possibly could be beneficial in the long run for the life of the cushion itself.
