A: Its a gel pen so with the low cost notebooks there will be a "shadow" on the back side of the paper. Imo the pen is very well made with a comfortable grip and extremely smooth writing,

Sharpie S‑Gel pens are designed for writing on paper, so we do not recommend using them on copper or other metal surfaces. The gel ink is not formulated to adhere properly to metal, and you may see skipping, smearing, or very poor durability.
For marking copper, a standard Sharpie permanent marker would provide much better results.

Best pens out there I prefer them over the pilot .7 ones now (those used to be my favorite) they work well minimal smudge and this color pen with black ink is top tier - lots of good color options too. Unfortunately I lost one in this pack the day I bought it but that’s on me. If you are in need of new pens I highly recommend.

Got a bad batch.
These are my favorite pens, but when we bought several sets for school this year, NONE OF THEM WORKED. Sharpie must have made a bad batch. I was so disappointed in the wasted money and poor quality of my favorite pen.

For whatever reason, I’ve always used sharpie pins and products but these pens keep on coming on twisted it’s therefore the springs are falling out, and I have to re-put them back together. This is my second pack. I had to return the first one because the spring was missing out of two of the pins.
