I usually purchase these in black but the white pens are great because now I can tell who keeps stealing them off my desk. :). While black is my staple color of choice, I need to have other colors in my collection. These pens look sleek and write sleek. I enjoy how easily they glide on paper, making it effortless to get a perfect handwriting style. The color variety is darker shades, but they all have great pigment and show up well without bleeding through. I will continue to use these and would recommend to all. They have the different colors on the package. I don't think the pens exactly look true to these but they still look great. The green shown looks darker than I expected. I like that it doesn’t have a removable cap which allows me to not lose the cap. I like that it is smear proof and smudge proof, awesome for journaling. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don’t usually like using colored pens for work because they’re usually bright and hard to read so I really wanted to try this pack of Sharpie gel pens because of the jewel toned ink. I tried them all and have to say I really liked them all. All colors are dark and a nice change from the typical blue, black and red. Even the green was a nice shade of evergreen and probably my favorite of the lot. The pen barrel is matte plastic with a textured grip. Some of the plastic protectors on the tip were hard to get off so make sure to remove completely otherwise the pen will not write smooth. The ink doesn’t smear and I think this is a great value for an eight pack of gel pens. I received an incentive to write this review.

They do, however, pretty much match the package so that’s on me. They just aren’t quite as bright, more muted earthy tones. These pens write well, they do seem to skip every once in a while, but mainly for my left-handed husband, so maybe it’s more of a writing position? I received an incentive to write this review.

Would attracted me to this type of pen, was the fact that this pack comes with eight different colors that I can use. Being a teacher, I really love pens and bonus points if they are different colors. What really drew me to these pens was that they claimed to have no smear no bleed technology and this is something that I have not experienced from gel pens in the past. As you can see from the picture, they definitely live up to their hype! After writing with these pens, doing a couple scribbles on the right side of the paper and immediately using my finger to test for smudges, I am happy to report that there are no smudges! The gel flows smoothly and glides over paper very easily. I like the look of the pens as the white stands in a dark drawer, and I just kind of feel a little classy using them.
