[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are good quality pens with a solid feel in your hand without being heavy. They have a nice grip. The 1.0 size writes a bold thick line. The ink flows very smoothly making it easy to write. The 1.0 releases more ink to achieve the bold line and it does take a couple seconds to dry. If you touch it right away it will smudge just due to the amount of ink that is used in the bold line. I received an incentive to write this review.

These are a 1.0 bold ink which is thicker than your normal gel or stick pen writes. In short, these are awesome pens. They write really well - especially for a new writer who is trying to learn proper grip, letter form, etc these allow for a really nice writing experience. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the S Gel no smear and no bleed pens in the 1.0mm bold. These come in a four pack of black pens that are designed well. I write for long periods of time and the grip on the pens make my fingers comfortable and not slip after riding for a long time. I also love that it has a clip button on the top to open and close the tip of the pen easily. This pen does not give the bold writing ink I was hoping but it still writes well overall. I absolutely love these pens, they write so nice, the ink dries very fast, and they feel great in the hand. The price for the quality is spot on. I’m going to have to try the other colors, but the black is always a staple. I like the 1.0 size tip, I tend to prefer a little larger writing tool. The click mechanism seems very secure and sturdy. I would like a little more cushion to the grip part especially for long writing. The clip seems good and sturdy too. Overall, I think its a nice pen, a little upgrade from the basic ones. I will still use this pen frequently but likely not for filling out paperwork where a finer tip will be more clear to read. The grip is comfortable and I like the style of the pen. They were a little shaky right out of the gate (see photo of writing sample), but warmed up fairly quickly. These are not great for those forms where you have to fill in tiny spaces/boxes, but no bold point pen is. Sometimes life requires a bold point pen (to do lists for your kids, declaration of your feelings card, you know which ones). Keep these on hand! I received an incentive to write this review.

The ink flows nicely but you will want to keep your pen moving or the ink will have bigger spots anywhere that you stop. That would be the only downside to using these pens. The black ink very slightly smeared, but I ruined my finger across it wrote after I finished writing. The ink does seem to dry quickly. The grip is okay. It works for what I need which are to-do lists and grocery lists. I prefer the 1.0 bold pen. I think it's easier to write with. I feel like it looks less sloppy on paper. As you can see next to the .7 medium pen, this 1.0 writes just that little bit thicker but definitely bolder as well. I think these are super easy to write with and really don’t smear or bleed. The pen at first took a couple scribbles to get the ink flowing but then it’s been perfect since - who knows maybe it was user error and I didn’t get all of the little protective blob that comes on the end of new pens off.
