She Prays is not only inspiring, but so applicable for every day life! This book walks you through how to pray to God and have a relationship with the Lord. Not to mention, the author has a heart of gold and such a passion for girls of all ages to have a thriving relationship with the Lord.

I’m so glad this book is available here now, I just had a conversation with a friend who said for the first time in 20 years she was able to think of God as a good father, because she did not have a good earthly father. This book changed her view of Him and how she now understands how much God loves to hear from her, like a good father would.

She Prays is a 30 day devotional that will take you to a different level with the Lord. I love how the author challenges you to go deeper in your prayer life while building a relationship with God. You learn to see him in a new loving way! I highly recommend this book and it would make a great gift :)

The subtitle of this book says that it is a '31-day journey to confident conversations with God' but I will definitely be using it much more than that! In her new book author Debbie Lindell shares 31 short chapters to improve the prayer life of both new believers AND mature Christians. These chapters are divided into four sections: She Prays With Understanding; She Prays With Knowledge; She Prays With Trust; and She Prays With Power and in each chapter there are Bible scriptures, Lindell's inspiring thoughts, and journal prompts to guide you as you write down your own thougths. Lindell's words make you feel as though the two of you are engaged in a personal conversation and her encouraging thoughts will help people who want to deepen their relationship with God. On page 51, she reminds us that "In the same way as God never tires of the sun rising or setting, he never gets tired of your everyday conversations". So many of us are afraid that we aren't praying the correct way when we should fear that we aren't praying enough!
I highly recommend She Prays and, even though I plan to use it as an added resource for my personal devotion time, I think that it would be an excellent book to use in a group setting.

She Prays by Debbie Lindell is a devotional book focused on prayer and a "31-Day Journey to Confident Conversations with God". Debbie breaks it into to four parts: she prays with understanding, she prays with knowledge, she prays with trust and she prays with power. Each short devotional offers insight into each topic (broken down even further) and then a space for reflection or action.
I have read many books on prayer, and while I did enjoy this devotional, I found that it could have been just a little more focused. Debbie does share great insights from her many years of ministry and offers a great devotional. This can be an encouragement to many women who are looking for some daily wisdom. I did appreciate the space for reflection and taking action. (I'm all about practical.)

"She Prays" is a great 31 day devotional that uses each of those thirty one days to hit the reader right in the heart. Lindell shares her personal experiences, life lessons and daily encouragements to nudge the reader nearer to the heart of God. Prayer is often something people think has a specific script, but Lindell is here to tell you that isn't the case.
Debbie is an author, pastor's wife and creator of the Designed for Life Women's Conferences. She has also written another book I have not read yet, called "She Believes." Throughout personal narratives, real life examples of those who have dealt with a myriad of issues and basic reminders from Scripture, Lindell makes this devotional on prayer a welcome friend at the end of the day, or a fresh reminder first thing in the morning.
I resonated with many examples from Lindell's ministry and life. She is open, honest and truthful with the reader. The devotionals are well written and detailed, while remaining thoughtful to wherever the reader may be in their walk with Christ.
This would be a great book to use in a small group or women's group setting. There is enough 'meat' in each day's devotional that you could expound on it and draw personal connections to the subjects referenced. This would make a lovely gift for women of all ages, as the topic of prayer is applicable to us all.

Debbie takes the reader on a 31 day journey through developing a more in-depth prayer life. The book is divided into 4 different sections including: understanding, knowledge, trust and power. She is very encouraging to the reader to dive in and understand what prayer is an how important it is and that it is not something to be intimidated by or self conscious about. I recommend this book to any woman at any age who wants to develop more of a dialogue with the One who created them. It will increase their confidence and understanding of the person they are. I would suggest that the reader take the book out for the whole 31 days and really take the time study the Scripture that she uses in each chapter.
I have been looking for a day by day devotional journey through prayer and this is the best one I have found so far. Debbie is truly a gift and so is this book.
