Changed Chips and Not For The Better

Have bought these chips for a very long time. Opened a new bag today and they’ve definitely been changed. Probably due to being sold to Pepsi&Co. They used to be light, thin, smooth,crispy but they’re definitely thicker chip/rougher texture now. The type of chip you could get by spending much less money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These didn’t last long in our house! I love a chip made with avocado oil in general, I love a lime chip… and these are both! Sometimes lime chips have a weird chemically after taste which thank goodness these didn’t! They weren’t crisp and flavorful, not too salty but definitely seasoned.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried Maiz Lime Corn Tortilla Chips with my favorite salsa and I wasn’t mad about the lime flavor. I was hoping it was a subtle lime flavor, in which it was. I found it refreshing. Something I didn’t like was, I found these chips a little too salty for my liking. Some chips were saltier than others. The chips consistently held up to each dunk of salsa, exhibiting great durability. Overall, I thought these chips were okay. I don’t think I would buy them again.

They have just the right amount of lime flavor without being too tangy, and the salt level is spot on. The chips have a light, crispy texture that makes them really easy to snack on, and I did not notice a lot of messy residue on my fingers. The portion is great for sharing, although I could easily eat the whole bag myself. They also have a delicious corn aroma that makes them even more tempting when you open the bag. These would be fantastic with salsa or guacamole, but honestly, now I just need a margarita!

Kids LOVED these!
