Good table but holes weren’t aligned

Overall it’s a good desk for the price but the holes weren't aligned correctly. If the holes were lined up properly the installation would have been relatively quick. I had to buy additional parts to properly fix the table. It could have been an isolated incident but I didn’t want to go through the whole process of returning and getting a replacement.
Great desk with assembly caveats

The desk is very nice looking and spacious. As almost everyone else mentioned, assembly is time-consuming, but it went well for me. A couple of things to know: One of the diagonals from the back leg to the table was about 1/4" short. The dowels connecting the diagonal into the table top got into the table top, but just barely. The screw holding it in place was inadequate. Between the screw being small and short, it began to strip out the material it was screwing into underneath the tabletop. So the diagonal is just barely in place. The good thing is that all the back pieces--the diagonals and the horizontal that spans them are not structural. They are just cosmetic, so their inadequacies don't compromise the desk. The screws that fasten the horizontal pieces that connect the front and back legs seem to start stripping out the material (I would say wood, but it's not real wood) if you're aggressive in screwing them in at all. Fortunately that should not compromise the structure of the table. And finally, the way that the screw holes for the drawer handles are countersunk into the wood, the screws shipped with the furniture are about 1/4" too long. There are several ways to deal with this. 1 get a screw cutter and cut the shipped screws to proper length--not recommended 2 put a washer on the screw so that it doesn't fall in the hole--easiest if you have washers 3 buy 8-32 screws that are 1/4" shorter--see below The problem with 1 and 3 is that the screws they ship aren't exactly standard 8-32. They're very, very close, but a tiny bit smaller than standard. So cutting the screw with a standard 8-32 screw cutter may damage the screw and make it unusable. And replacing the screw with a standard 8-32 screw means that you'll be trying to put a standard screw into a slightly small hole. It won't feel right. It will work, but it will feel like you're damaging the handles. I picked this route because the screw went into the countersink and did not intrude into the drawer. I'm satisfied with the desk. It seems a much better choice than anything else in the price range. I have no idea how the manufactured wood of the surface will wear in the long run, but it seems very nice and sturdy at the moment.
Love the desk but…

I purchased this desk in Oct 2024. The desk is beautiful and I love it, but…..at about month 4 pieces of the wood are starting to chip away on the front. I’m able to cover it up with a furniture repair marker but just a consideration. I’m still happy I bought the desk, it looks great in my home.

A little tall but works well for my desk. Looks good. I put it together by myself. But if there’s an option for more than one person i recommend two people.
Glued incorrectly

Although I love the look of the desk there were two pieces with wooden dowels on the ends. These dowels cannot be removed and were glued in crookedly. When I went to insert it one of them broke off because the angle it was glued in was incorrect. I was still able to assemble it but it took a while because I was unsure how to handle it.
Great desk, bad directions.

Beware, the directions are incorrect and we had to purchase longer screws for some parts. Other than that I love the desk.

Great desk! Beautiful and sturdy. I would Give it 5 stars however my boyfriend put it together and even though he loves it he said he didn’t like how the support bars sit together, and some of the screws did not hold, we’re too short and had to use longer ones we had at home, however he loves it as well.

The holes do not aligned with the leg, legs wood supports are glued to other parts that don't leave room for flexibility. Worst instruction ever Ikeas instructions are more clear than this.
Ready to assemble desk made in Viet Nam

Ready to assemble. Made in Viet Nam. Each leg has two bolts that thread into the top. I say bolts. Really just threaded metal dowels. Do yourself a favor and take one of the dowels to your local big box DIY store's hardware department and get 8 bolts with same threads and length. Dont tighten anything up until you get the cross braces installed. A socket wrench, long skinny phillips head screw driver and screw gun are essential when putting this together. We as consumers are stupid for buying knock down or ready to assemble furniture or anything else that has to be put together. Our reseller did offer delivery and I assume assembly for a flat fee.
Easy to assemble. Nice desk!

My husband and I assembled the desk in about 10-15 minutes. I love it - EXCEPT it came with a small blemish on the top. I've used a brown marker and fixed it the best I could so I didnt have the hassle of a return (been there, done that, not fun). All in all, I'm feeling good about the purchase!
Pretty nice.

I purchased this desk and the matching set (book shelf, printer holder) for my home office and I absolutely love it. The set is sturdy and high quality. In addition, the collection does not look cheap. it is a very classy piece to add to your home. I am very satisfied with the price point and quality of the collection. Highly recommend!!!

The materials for this desk are sturdy and it's a good looking style. Construction was another issue, there are pegs that are part of the fabrication that do not line up with the holes when you try to put it together. The bolts seem fine things go together, except when you need to line them up. The pegs and glue are sloppy and not well placed. A number of them broke when trying to put the desk together and tightening the bolts.
