Why isn't there an easier way to attach blades, so they stay put.

not as impressive as the 12v product line but it does do it's job. probably would be alot better in the brushless version. I haven't used this much but I do like the concept and capability of this tool. it comes with a zipper pouch with belt loop that holds your Allen key, blades and sanding pads/attachment and other accessories which I thought was excellent. the build quality for this model wasn't up to my standards, I've only used this thing not even a handful of time and I've already had some issues with both the drive motor screws backing completely out and lodging themselves into the cooling fins, seizing up everything pretty adequately. looks like there wasn't any lock tight applied to the screws which allowed them to vibrate out ..I've repaired it for now. that would be the only flaw I see so far

On most of these reviews, I add the caveat: "for the price." Not on this one. Not sure of the long term, but so far, it's absolutely stellar!

Good tool but played interchanging is clumsy. I have the 12 old version of this and the ergonomics of it is much better. Not sure I would buy this tool twice.

This is the first oscillating tool I have owned. I love this thing, wish I had bought one years ago. I am using it on a boat repair, cutting and sanding fiberglass, it works great.
This is a must have tool.

Great versatile tool with the ability to cut/saw in hard to reach places where a conventional saw cannot get to. It can also be used as a scraper, a sander, and grout removal.

This tool is great for the price, battery lasts a long time. Just wish it included two batteries with the kit.
Great kerf tool!

Purchased this tool to retrofit a door frame with a kerf into which to insert weatherstrip. The door jamb was already in place, but I didn't have a sawblade thin enough to make a kerf snug enough anyway. I tested it a bit ( had never used an oscillating tool before), then went to work. Would have been better to have a slightly thicker blade, but after some practice I was able to cut a nice kerf in the cedar posts. The tool is easy to use, the power control is nice, it is well-balanced. And the sanding attachment was perfect for erasing the scuff marks left by the blade.
Very handy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never thought I would use a multi-tool until I got one to use on a boat remodeling project. I built a new larger bow deck over the original lower deck. I used this tool to remove carpet adhesive and it worked slick. I could not have done anything like this by hand. Then later in the lower stow I removed more carpeting and cleaned up the adhesive from the aluminum hull very easily. Then I sued it to help cut apart old wooden handles from the old bolts of handles being replaced on an old wheelbarrow. It did a good job cutting through that old wood. The 3rd time I used it went well also. My wife decided we need to refinish some patio furniture. It was a plastic bench and the plastic needed to be sanded to accept paint. I did most of the job with a palm sander but there were areas where I couldn't get at. I put the sanding head on the multi-tool and was on my way to finishing that part of the job. I was able to get in corners and recesses very well. I used a course grade of sand paper which was quite aggressive but it did a fine job. I recommend this tool to anyone that does a lot of projects around the house.

My Skil 20V Oscillating Multi-tool with 2.0Ah lithium battery has been a great resource to me on several projects. Cutting out old siding to be replaced on my house, chiseling grout where tile will be replaced to sawing an old tree piece into a piece of art. Long lasting battery and quick to recharge. Extremely versatile tool.

I will use this most of the time for sanding hard to get to spots after assembly. However I see great things to come with the other attachments. Built to last, I love this tool.
