Q: We flew first time outside and after taking off it kept going higher and higher and surprisingly remote was not able to control it. Who should I complain about faulty helicopter, more interesting in getting the refund??

A: This helicopter uses an infrared remote. It is not designed for outdoor use because sunlight can interfere with the signal.

Do not waste your money!
Do not waste your money! It’s super hard to steer and didn’t want to destroy anything inside. Took it outside in a large field to try and it took off! The remote wasn’t even controlling it, it just kept going until it crashed into a tree. My son is devastated!

Fun and enjoyable
The majority of complaints about this product come from people who attemptrd to fly it outdoors. The box clearly states it is for indoors. Any RC product with an infrared RC remote will not work outside in the sunlight due to interference. Take time to actually read the product before you purchase. This is a fun little toy.

Cheap quality, doesn't last long!
I purchased the "Sky Rover KnightVision Helicopter Drone" on February 17th. It functioned wonderfully for the first ten days, and my kids adored it. However, after that period, the main blade appears to be loose and has stopped rotating, causing the helicopter to no longer fly. I sent email to customer service attached the video as reference.Hoped to help the product but no response. Not sure why box contains card to reach out to customer service when they don’t care to respond. That’s shows poor quality and service.

Broken within 5 minutes. Very thin plastic holds the top balancer to the propeller. There are small pieces of plastic that are supposed to reinforce this spot. One fell off, we didn’t notice, and during the next flight, the toy broke. Your kids will be disappointed.

Durable and long lasting
I bought this helicopter from Target two years ago, and it broke a couple months ago. I crashed it hundreds of times, yet it still kept working! The only down side is that is does not work well in wind. I am planning on buying it again this Christmas, and would highly recommend this product!

Fun lasted only 10 min
Cheap toy, but was still very unimpressed with the very poor quality. Ours was played indoors as recommended, which will inevitably end with wall/ceiling crashes (unless you're playing inside a plane hanger, ice rink or indoor basketball court..). The toy only lasted about 10 minutes of use. The bottom rotor won't turn and therefore won't fly. I've investigated repairing myself but there aren't any obvious ways to repair. Beware.

Great toy!
We’ve had this for over a year and we love it. I was very hesitant because of all the bad reviews. You CANNOT fly it outside. The instructions say that. The UV rays impact its ability to communicate with the remote so it will fly without control outside. A babysitter came over and flew it outside because she didn’t know this, it landed on our roof. We got it down and brought it inside and it was fine. I have not timed how long the battery lasts, but it seems like 20-30 minutes maybe. My son loves this. He got it at age 6 and still plays with it now at 7.5 years old. It’s easy for him to control. It’s been a great toy. It has had some indoor crashes, but still works fine.

I read reviews still went ahead and bought it. The controls one second they would work and then would stop working. Decided to return. My kid said he wants to try one more time. After few tries it started flying and never came down.. stuck on the roof... Fun lasted for 5 mins. Lost money quicker than on Casino table..
