Q: When I try to use this after charging for a few hours, it only moves for 1 second and then stops. Is it defective or is there a secret to the buttons next to the power button.

A: Hi, thanks for reaching out about the SLF Shiatsu Pro Shoulder Massager Excessive Downward Pressure: If you are actively pulling down on the arm straps to apply deep pressure, the massager may interpret this as a motor obstruction or overload and shut off to prevent damage. Since you said it was charging for a few hours, the problem is most likely related to the charging system.
