Not as Sturdy as the Original
I bought this game thinking it would be like the original. We played a few times and after a few days (literally), the frame broke when a spike hit the rim. We pulled it back together and kept playing. A few hits later, the ball bounced off the rim again in a completely different place and it snapped in half again. Would definitely make sure that you are buying the original version and not the Weekender. This is the second set like this that has broken.

Not good value; low quality
Very low-quality materials and not easy to put together. The frame broke on the very first day of use (the flimsy plastic snapped in two). The netting was not easy to get onto the frame. I love Spikeball, but I will be returning this and looking for a higher quality product. It would be one thing if this were on the cheaper side, but at $70 I expect a higher level of quality.

Broke easily after 1 month
As others mentioned, the new construction does not hold up. Ours plastic broke with little use after one month of use. At $70, this is poorly contructed and a waste of money. Fun game while it lasted.
