So far, this has been great! Have been able to send my toddlers lunch and compartmentalize sides and snacks. The metal is thin, but no thinner than the expensive $50 lunchboxes. Can’t speak to the leakproof aspect, though I can’t see what you’d send in this type of lunchbox that would leak. The seal is tight though. We spent on the big name $50 lunchboxes, and yet this is the one we’ve used most. The size is great too. It would definitely hold enough for an elementary schooler as well.

You cant put any juicy fruits like watermelon or honeydew. The liquid from the fruit moves all over the lunch box and completely messes the other compartments. I will be returning this one.

I love this snack box!! I was looking for one for several weeks and decided to try the cloud island one. The lid seals better than I was expecting and I love that there is 3 different sizes of compartments. I will probably purchase a second one. I haven’t tested it with moist foods and I anticipate it could leak some, but for dryer options like cheese, goldfish, strawberries, etc. I think it will be fantastic. It would probably hold half a sandwich, possibly 2 halves stacked, in the largest compartment too.

The design looks very clean and minimalist and I love the color and rounded edges. It’s supposed to be a snack box but I’ve been using it as a bento box as well. It’s very versatile and can be used with or without the compartments inside. The lid fits on well and does not fall off easily. All the parts are easy to clean. I would purchase again.

I like that the container itself is stainless steel and that there’s a removable silicone insert. This makes it great for separating certain food items.
