Munchkin Stay Put Divided Suction Toddler Plates

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like how it’s bigger than most suction plate. One thing I noticed that it doesn’t suction really good even if I put some water at the bottom my 1 year old could still pick it up and throw it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My baby and I love this plate! The suction is strong and stays attached to the high chair tray. It is made of a thicker material but is still low profile. I like that there is a pull tab on the back end to break the suction easily. It's held up well with daily feeding and washing. It's a staple in any household with a baby/toddler in the throwing stage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In general, the plate is great. It’s a good size and can hold a decent amount of food. The bright color is fun. However, the suction doesn’t work that great. My 10 month old can peel it off her highchair pretty easily.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works just fine but doesn’t suction very well on all surfaces. I do wish it wasn’t plastic because I try to avoid plastic in my child’s dinnerware. Easy to clean and does fine in the dishwasher.

This is the only item I purchased in my $$$ order that actually works as described. The compartment sizes are appropriate for my 17 mo old granddaughter and the suction on the bottom is strong enough to really hold. It’s easy to clean and I think she’ll get quite a lot of use from it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The plate is one giant suction cup on the bottom instead of some of those other ones, which you see with multiple suction cups I think it is nice that way because it really prevents a lot of the flexing. Plus, this is a solid plastic plate no metal no silicone nothing else which means that it is a little bit more ridge than the silicone, but obviously not as rich as a metal plate. The portion sizes are good. The walls for each section are also that the right height I would say it is a pretty solid plate. If this is the style you’re looking for then this is a pretty good option.

Plate is nice overall but it does not stay suctioned to the table. Our 11 month old can get it off very easily.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a solid kid plate, sticks really well to the table, it fits on the tray of the Tripp Trapp high chair which is great but it doesn’t stay suctioned to the high chair tray. I have never found a kid plate or bowl yet that stays stuck to a high chair tray though so not knocking them for this. It’s a nice small size that is great for 6 months to probably 18 months but my bigger kisses (2 & 5) eat a little more and this is too small for them.

When I saw this munchkin stay-put plate online, I thought the whole thing was silicone. I'm not sure why, but I did. The plate is a hard plastic. It scratches quite easily, and I'm a little worried that microplastics will be coming off when this happens. I have only very gently hand washed this plate, FYI. The suction works better on some surfaces than on others. On my marble counter tops the suction works amazingly, but my dining table not so much. It just depends on what kind of surfaces you have. The plate has a quick-release pull tab on the side, which works wonderfully for breaking the suction, and it has nice high edges, so food stays put when little fingers are trying to grab it. This plate isn't my absolute favorite. But it does what it is supposed to and works.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm in the early stages of weaning my 6 month old and got sent this plate to try out. I have many Munchkin brand products so I was excited to try this but I was a bit disappointed with the suction of this plate. It did not suction well to his high chair or our table. He was able to pull it off instantly & spill his food. Needless to say I won't be using this for him. However I will be using it for my toddler since we don't need it to suction to the table for him.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These plates are great for transitioning to plates after mostly eating off the high hair tray. I noticed my toddler becoming more picky about different foods touching and these plates really helped with her eating a little bit more at meal times because the foods were separate. The plates don’t suction the best after running through the dishwasher but I don’t mind that as much. Would definitely recommend these as introductory plates or plates to help your toddler try new foods / eat a little more!
